Happy Mother's day!!!!!

Today everybody around the world celebrates moms ... this year my thoughts will not be only to mine, which among other things is beginning to be a bit proven to have a daughter on the other side of the world and in spite of all, she supports me (thx mom!!!)... today, my thought is for some new moms . To Federica, one of my best friends, who is waiting to have a baby just in this days, happy, anxious and with a bit of fear ... I’m so sad to not be there to see Sofia ... but her “aunt” will have a lot of great stories to tell her. To Elena, wonderful mother, from four years, of two children who seem painted,carries out her work with a smile and enviable zen patience. To Caroline, my best French friend in Australia, during one of our last chats she announced me the arrival of a baby in the next 6 months ... I almost didn't believe it! To all of you, that every day, wake up and know that you will have a hard work, paid by crying, grimaces and smiles, I know, who you are and you will be AMAZING moms ... I'd like to understand where you find all those energies and what makes you immune to sickness and fever. Maybe not all of your little babies can still tell you, so I remind it to you… don’t give up ... you’re Fantastic moms and you're doing a good job. I can only inspire by you...and in the meantime, on this Sunday just to keep me in training, I’m cooking. Australian intensive course of cupcakes: baking, coverage and decorations ... so today for me sugar a go-go...I will let you know how it goes in the next few days. All that I can say, holding my training as a good "aunt", is good Mother's Day to all of you, a big hug.

Oggi un po’ in tutto il mondo si festeggiano le mamme…il mio pensiero quest’anno non si limiterà solo alla mia, che tra le altre cose comincia a essere un po’ provata ad avere una figlia dall’altra parte del mondo e nonostante tutto la sostiene (grazie mamy!!)…oggi, il mio pensiero va a tante nuove mamma in crescita. A Federica, amica di una vita, che a giorni affronterà il suo primo parto, felice, ansiosa e con un pizzico di paura…mi si stringe il cuore al pensiero di non poter essere li a vedere Sofia…ma la sua "zia" avrà un sacco di storie fantastiche da raccontarle. A Elena, mamma meravigliosa, oramai da 4 anni di due bambini che sembrano fatti con lo stampino, porta avanti il suo lavoro con il sorriso e una pazienza zen da far invidia a chiunque. A Caroline, la mia francese preferita in Australia, che durante una delle nostre ultime chat mia ha comunicato l’arrivo di un bebè nei prossimi 6 mesi…quasi quasi non ci credevo! A tutte voi, che ogni giorno vi alzate e sapete che vi attenderà un duro lavoro, pagato a suon di pianti, smorfie e sorrisi, so che siete e sarete mamme fantastiche…mi piacerebbe capire dov’è che si trovano tutte quelle energie e cos’è che vi rende immuni da malattie e febbre. Forse non tutti i vostri pargoli possono ancora dirvelo, quindi ve lo ricordo io che siete mamme Fantastiche…non mollate state facendo un buon lavoro. Io non posso che ispirarvi a voi…e nel frattempo in questa domenica di festa tanto per tenermi in allenamento, mi dedico alla cucina. Corso australiano intensivo di cupcakes: cottura, copertura e decorazione…insomma oggi per me zucchero a go-go…vi farò sapere come va nei prossimi giorni. Che dire mentre io mi tengo in allenamento per le merendine da brava “zia”, auguro buona festa della mamma a tutte, un abbraccio.
