NERD è un termine della lingua inglese con cui viene chiamato chi ha una certa predisposizione per la ricerca intellettuale, ed è al contempo tendenzialmente solitario e con una più o meno ridotta predisposizione per la socializzazione. Lo stereotipo vede queste persone affascinate dalla conoscenza, sia quella classica che quella riguardante la scienza e la matematica; i "nerd" sono inoltre considerati poco interessati alle attività sportive e sociali. Anche l'aspetto esteriore è rappresentato da un cliché ben definito: indossano vestiti niente affatto alla moda, spesso tipici di persone più in là con gli anni (come gilet o mocassini). A partire dagli anni novanta molte persone che si consideravano "nerd" iniziarono a sostenere che tale appellativo avesse una valenza positiva, ed iniziarono ad usarlo per connotare le persone che hanno competenze tecniche di un certo livello, tralasciando ogni implicazione riguardo alla socialità e socievolezza. Questo stile mi ha sempre colpita. A dire il vero mi ci sento anche io (a tratti...) nerd, nella misura in cui si parla di ricerca di uno stile personale, fondato sull'accostamento di pezzi unici e basici per questo modo di vestire. Lo stile Nerd spesso viene confuso con l'urban a tratti sporty, quindi con un modo di vestire a metà tra il ricercato e l'easy

Occhiali da vista dalla montatura doppia, acetata e nera possibilmente;2.Biker boots, o anche stivali da motociclista, molto in voga anche quest'anno;3. Honestly this style has always been so much interesting for me. And truely, I feel nerd sometimes, if we think of nerd as researching of a personal- style, based this searching on different and basic pieces of clothing, in order to create a dress code.Sometimes this way of dressing has also been confused with Urban- Sporty Style, which is a way of dressing half refined and half easy.Here the basic pieces in order to get this (wonderful) look:
1.acetate glasses, in black ( possibly);2.Biker boots or also boots used to ride motorbikes;3.soft and quite big backpacks, in leather or in fake leather;4. long/abundant jackets;5.a boyfriend watch.This list can be finished and "well closed" by some girlish pieces, such as doubled belts or plain rings- bangles.
