Proprio perchè si parla di mappe, non si possono tralasciare i grandi e celebri viaggi.Un viaggiatore su tutti: Marco Polo. La mostra online comprende, tra le altre cose, una parte dedicata alle sue narrazioni. Si ricostruiscono, infatti, i suoi viaggi disegnandone l'itinerario sulle cartine dell'epoca. Just because we talk about maps, we can't neglect the great and famous journeys and travels.A traveler over the others is surely Marco Polo. Un'ultima parola sulla location: presto spero di riuscirvi a dedicare un'intero post, ma la Bibliothèque Nationale è probabilmente il sogno - più o meno consapevole - di ogni studioso o appassionato di libri e letture. Si trova nella zona che abbiamo definito "la nuova Parigi" per via della modernità della sua architettura. La BNF (acronimo di Bibiothèque Nationale de France) si inserisce in questo contesto urbano creando uno spazio davvero notevole. One last word about the location: I hope to succeed to devote an entire post soon, but Bibliothèque Nationale is probably the dream - more or less aware - of any student or lover of books and reading. It is located in the area that we called the "new Paris" because of the modernity of its architecture. The BNF (acronym for Bibliothèque Nationale de France) is part of this urban texture, creating a truly remarkable space. HERE is the beautiful site of the library (which also allows you to virtually explore it). But I anticipate no more!
