Finalmente ho compilato il listone dei romanzi fantasy/sci-fi/horror da leggere almeno una volta nella vita. La presento in ordine alfabetico con alcune noterelle di corcostanza:
- Non ho letto tutti i libri presenti in lista, è una lista di consigli di lettura anche per il sottoscritto.
- Nella compilazione mi sono basato sul consenso generale dell’opera, combinando le opinioni di pubblico e critica.
- Mi sono comunque riservato il diritto di omettere fuffa (tipo la trilogia dei Lungavista Robin Hobb) sulla base di negativissime esperienze personali.
- Poiché non tutti i libri hanno una traduzione nella nostra lingua, ho scelto di elencarli con il titolo originale, mentre il titolo italiano lo trovate tra parentesi; per cui se vedete roba scritta in cirillico non è perché voglio fare lo sborone, più probabilmente è un copia-incolla da Wikipedia.
- Per alcuni romanzi non è stato possibile stabilire l’esatta data di pubblicazione – anche in questi casi mi sono rifatto a Wikipedia inglese.
- Di alcuni autori ho elencato tutti i romanzi di una serie, di altri solo alcuni, questo dipende dal livello di interconnessione che i romanzi facenti parte di una sere hanno tra di loro (ad esempio i romanzi del Ciclo dell’Ecumene sono leggibili anche a prescindere l’uno dall’altro, la Ruota del Tempo no).
- Ci sono alcuni romanzi listati che non sono ancora stati pubblicati (The Doors of Stone di Rothfuss e Republic of Thieves di Lynch, ad esempio), e stanno in lista per lo stesso discorso sulle serie che facevo al punto sopra.
- C’è una sovrabbondanza di autori anglosassoni e la cosa non mi va più di tanto a genio.
- La lista è comunque un work in progress, e i suggerimenti per ampliarla sono sempre ben accetti. Ma suggeritemi di aggiungere Fallen di Lauren Kate e vi strappo le palle a morsi.
