La guida rappresenta un aggiornamento pressoché totale del lavoro svolto nel 2005 includendo, in questa nuova versione, tutte le problematiche e le opportunità offerte dal 2.0.
La guida ha un dichiarato interesse regionale per le zone dell’Asia e del Pacifico (le buone pratiche provengono da queste zone) ma, scritta in inglese, è utilissima nei suoi spunti anche per insegnanti e bibliotecari italiani.
