[IDEA RICICLO] How to obtain a new headboard in a few steps - Come ottenere una nuova testata in pochi passi

At my place August is always a synonym for ¨home work¨; we not only clean and make order, we also make a lot of big works like change/move/replace furniture, we paint walls, we revolutionize rooms.....yeah, I know, what a beautiful way to spend holidays....I don´t know why and how is it possible but I like it!
This year....well, we did a lot of stuffs!
While we were making some works in my brother´s bedroom we found that his bed needed a headboard....and recycling 2 pillows, some denim fabric and buying a steel wire for curtains (we found that at Ikea for 3,99 euro) you can have your own in a few steps!
Firts of all, sew together the 2 pillows with some hand stitches at the top and the low corner ( I left the zipper on the outside, so remove the stuffings will be easier!).
Then prepare 4 big loops with a strong fabric ( I did mine with a black denim, from a pair of trousers I´ve shortened).
Sew the loops to the pillows, set up the wire attaching it to the wall, insert the loops in the wire...and here you are! Done!

A casa mia agosto e´ sempre sinonimo di ¨lavori in casa¨....non solo se ne approfitta per pulire per bene, spesso ci cimentiamo anche in grandi lavori di sostituzione di mobili, rivoluzione di stanze, tinteggio di pareti.....il negozio del bricolage e negozi come Ikea diventano nostri grandi amici! Certo, penserete voi, che bel modo di passare le vacanze! Vero, si fatica un po´....ma la soddisfazione di avere una casa piu´ in ordine, piu´ vivibile....fa passare meglio le sudate e le sfacchinate! E si, in fondo mi piace, anche perche´ non amo molto andare in ferie ad agosto!
Quest´anno ci siamo espressi in diversi lavoretti, essendosi aggiunta anche la forza lavoro di mio fratello che prima ha sempre snobbato lavori di questo tipo!
E la testata che vedete in foto e´ proprio in camera sua, mentre stavamo facendo dei lavoretti nella sua camera ho pensato che gli servisse una testata, visto che spesso sta a computer seduto sul letto!Cosi´, riutilizzando due cuscini, recuperando della stoffa di jeans proveniente da un paio di pantaloni accorciati e comprando un cavo di acciaio per le tende (abbiamo trovato il nostro all´Ikea per 3,99 euro) potete creare anche voi in pochi ed economici passi una nuova testata!
Per prima cosa cucire con qualche punto a mano i due cuscini insieme nell´angolo in alto e in basso, io ho lasciato le zip che aprono le fodere all´esterno, cosi´ che rimuovere l´imbottitura per lavarli e´  piu´  agevole.
Dopo di che preparate 4 grandi passanti con della stoffa resistente, se e´ di riciclo e´ ancora meglio, io ho usato della stoffa di jeans in doppio strato!
Cucite i passanti ai cuscini, montate il cavetto di acciacio al muro, infilate i cuscini nel cavetto....ed ecco fatto, una nuova testata!
