Mirror Box, Fashion in the mirror, is the title of the exhibition organized by the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) and inaugurated today in the II Ponte Contemporanea gallery until January 26. Eighteen are the works on display created by students on the occasion of AltaRomaAltaModa. The dress communicates with the jewelry and accessory, creating a surreal atmosphere, a fluid environment, full of strong contrasts. The objects reflect and multiply in a game of mirrors and lights. A closed room is amplified by the set-up which endlessly reproduces the various exhibited objects and makes them simultaneously visible from different angles. The clothes, the jewelry, the accessories, seem almost suspended, no mannequin to support them, the materials that shape them play the starring role. Each piece has its own story to tell, every single student has given shape to its creativity.

Mirror Box, Moda allo specchio, è il titolo della mostra organizzata dall’Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) e inaugurata oggi nella galleria II Ponte Contemporanea fino al 26 gennaio. Diciotto sono le opere esposte, create dagli studenti in occasione di AltaRomaAltaModa. L’abito dialoga con il gioiello e con l’accessorio, creando un atmosfera surreale, un ambiente fluido, ricco di forti contrasti. Gli oggetti si riflettono e moltiplicano in un gioco di specchi e luci. Una stanza chiusa, amplificata dall’allestimento che replica all’infinito le creazioni in mostra e le rende visibili contemporaneamente da ogni angolazione. Gli abiti, i gioielli, gli accessori sembrano quasi sospesi, nessun manichino li sorregge, i materiali che li modellano sono protagonisti assoluti, ogni singolo pezzo ha una storia in sé da raccontare, ogni singolo studente ha dato forma alla sua creatività.
