Jolla Sailfish approfondimento sulle caratteristiche hardware dello smartphone con un sistema opeartivo tutto nuovo e da scoprire
Il primo telefono con sistema operativo Sailfish è arrivato in manu ai primi smanettoni che non hanno atteso molto per smontarlo completamente e scoprire i componenti hardware presenti al suo interno.
Il nuovo telefono 4G funziona con un sistema operativo proprietario basato su OS Sailfish società. All’interno dello smartphone troviamo un processore da 1.4 GHz dual core Krait con 1 GB di RAM e Adreno 305 come CPU grafica.
Il telefono Jolla è dotato di un display IPS da 4,5 pollici di risoluzione QHD. C’è una fotocamera principale da 8 megapixel con flash LED accanto ad una 2MP anteriore.
Non poteva mancare la connettività 4G, NFC, 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi e Bluetooth 4.0.

- The phone seems to be manufactured by Qisda Corporation
- Some subcomponents used on the phone seems to have been manufactured by “Truly Electronics” (Screen controller?, microSD/SIM sockets flex-board)
- The memory is a “Micron MT42L256M32D2LK-18″ (labeled as D9QMM) it’s a low power DDR2 memory in a 216-ball FBGA package, soldered in top of the processor. Datasheet
- The main RF amplifier it’s an ACPM-7251 manufactured by “Avago Technologies”. Teoricaly, it supports GSM (850/900), EDGE (1800/1900), UMTS (850/900/2100) and LTE (850) Datasheet
- There is at least another LTE RF amplifier.
- The audio CODEC it’s a Qualcomm WCD9304.
- The PMIC it’s a Qualcomm PM8038.
- The NFC controller it’s an PN544 (labeled as 44701) manufactured by NXP Semiconductors. It supports read/write of ISO 14443–A, 14443-B, MIFARE, FeliCa and NFC Forum tags, and it can emulate such devices. There’s a good chance it’s already hooked up into the I2C bus, so it might be “hacked” and be used for something else than just reading TOHs. Datasheet
