Fabio Capello scatena le fantasie più sfrenate nella compassata Inghilterra: a South Shields, una cittadina sulla costa est non lontana dal confine con la Scozia, per tutta la durata dei Mondiali un ristorante indiano proporrà ai suoi clienti un 'Capello Curry' super-piccante.
Il 'Capello Curry', secondo quanto riporta sul suo sito web un giornale locale, è stato inserito nel menù del 'Jai Ho', un ristorante che spopola tra gli amanti della cucina indiana, dopo la sfuriata di Don Fabio contro i fotografi a qualche giorno dall'inizio del torneo.
«È stata una scena forte e l'idea ci è venuta da lì - ha detto il proprietario Khamal Hussain - ma ai nostri clienti lo diciamo chiaramente, anche il 'Capello Curry' è roba forte, sconsigliabile ai deboli di cuore».
«È un piatto che fa letteralmente volare e che con lo chef abbiamo ideato anche come una sorta di auspicio, sperando che con Capello la nostra nazionale possa volare verso un successo in Sudafrica», ha aggiunto. «Il Mondiale è anche un evento sociale oltre che sportivo, molti tifosi si ritrovano tra loro anche per stare insieme e così abbiamo pensato di dar loro la possibilità di farlo aggiungendo un pò di pepe alle loro serate», ha spiegato ancora.
E William Hill, uno dei maggiori bookmaker del Regno Unito, invece, accetta scommesse (per 33 a 1) che il manager dei bianchi, se vincerà la Coppa del Mondo, festeggerà suonando una vuvuzela, la micidale trombetta dei tifosi sudafricani diventata il tormentone di Sudafrica 2010.
