Two PhD positions at the University of Lugano (USI), on the design, implementation and evaluation of parallel programming models for the Cloud The open positions will focus on the design and implementation of novel parallel programming models for PaaS clouds.
Candidate profile
Applicants need to:
- Have (or soon receive) a Masters degree in computer science/engineering, informatics,
or related elds.
- Have excellent coding skills in one of the following: Java, Scala, C, C++, or Python.
- Have some experience hacking a virtual machine, a compiler, an OS kernel.
- Have excellent English writing skills.
