Made in Italy is famous for its leather products and it is with 100% Italian leather accessories that are made by travelers Kjore Project, a brand that I recently found on the web and that promises very well. Kjore Project is a Scandinavian brand of a Norwegian name with of supreme Italian raw materials that produce a line of accessories, characterized with the Nordic style, using only rough and strongest leather, but incredibly soft.
Its continental element is one that touches every aspect of the company with purpose. If you love vintage and the travel accessories that your grandparents used, this company fits well with you. Their tanning process was first developed in ancient times. This is a slow process dependent on the skill and artistry of passionate and committed tanners. It is the careful attention of dedicated tanners and their refusal to compromise on materials and the time necessary to achieve the desired result that differentiates their tanned leather from all other leathers. Instead of peeling and cracking their leather develops its own patina, changing gradually in appearance and taking on the character of its user over time. The scars, scratches, veins and wrinkles that give each piece in their collection its unique character have not been sanded down or buffed. They specifically chose not to cover minor imperfections with paint sealers or artificial finishes, using only clear dyes in a range of colors that enhance rather than conceal the beautiful character of their leather.
Their team of designers and craftspeople produced each kjøre project piece by hand, utilizing the same style of tools
that have been used to create leather goods for years. They blend classic techniques with modern mechanics to achieve the best possible treatment within each step of production, they embarked on a quest for perfection – perfection in design and perfection in craftsmanship.

Ed è proprio questa collaborazione continentale che caratterizza questa azienda, rendendola unica nel suo genere. Se siete amanti del vintage e degli accessori da viaggio che usavano i vostri nonni, questa azienda fa proprio al caso vostro. Infatti, Kjore Project crea prodotti moderni che rispettano il passato, come ad esempio questi meravigliosi borsoni da viaggio in pelle dallo stile molto vintage adatti per un viaggio avventuroso stile Indiana Jones.
Il processo di concia della pelle utilizzato da questa azienda è stato sviluppato in tempi antichi. E’ un processo lento e dipende molto dall’abilità e la maestria dei conciatori appassionati e impegnati . Ed è proprio la dedizione dei conciatori, il loro rifiuto di compromessi sui materiali utilizzati ed il tempo necessario di lavorazione che differenzia la pelle dei loro prodotti da tutte le altre pelli in commercio. Invece di secchezza e screpolature, la loro pelle sviluppa la propria patina, cambiando gradualmente aspetto ed assumendo con il tempo il suo colore caratterizzante. Le cicatrici, i graffi , le vene e le rughe presenti in ogni prodotto, non levigato o lucidato, rendono unico ogni pezzo e collezione. Hanno specificamente scelto di non coprire le piccole imperfezioni con sigillanti vernici o finiture artificiali , utilizzando solo tinture chiare in una gamma di colori che esaltano piuttosto che nascondono il bel carattere della loro pelle .
Il loro team di progettisti e artigiani produce ogni pezzo Kjøre Project a mano, utilizzando lo stesso stile degli strumenti che sono stati utilizzati per creare pelletteria per anni. Essi fondono tecniche classiche con meccanica moderna per ottenere il miglior trattamento possibile in ogni fase della produzione ottenendo prodotti ricercati con perfezione nel design e artigianale.
