Qualche altro suggerimento su come prendersi cura dei propri capi in maglia preferiti:

Sa disponete di una lavatrice con centrifuga molto delicata, potete usarla per rimuovere l'acqua in eccesso dopo il risciacquo dai vostri capi più resistenti. Fate comunque molta attenzione però! Non fatelo mai con capi in cachemire o simili (angora, lambswool, mohair, ecc.) E mettete sempre il capo in un sacchetto apposito (come quelli utilizzati per la biancheria intima) o in una federa per evitare che qualche parte vada ad impigliarsi nel cestello della lavatrice
Tenete comunque presente che ci sono centri specializzati nel lavaggio dei capi in cashmere (anche) a mano ed esistono anche centri in grado di riparare i capi in lana rovinati
E 'sempre una buona idea lasciare asciugare il deodorante prima di indossare un maglione, questo ridurrà draticamente le macchie di deodorante
Dal momento che molti dei capi in maglia di buona qualità sono costituiti da fibre naturali, è sempre utile indossare una sciarpa intorno al collo per creare una barriera tra il trucco del viso ed il collo del maglione, soprattutto se è di un colore chiaro In più, se si è molto sensibili alla lana, la sciarpa può servire da cuscinetto tra la pelle del collo e il maglione
Infine fate attenzione se utilizzate scatole di cartone per mettere via i capi in maglia durante la stagione estiva Se da un lato sono preferibili alla plastica in quanto le fibre naturali permettono ai capi di "respirare", dall'altro, attraggono maggiormente le tarme Quindi queste scatole vanno controllate regolarmente e corredate di un prodotto antitarme

If you have a very gentle spin cycle in your washing machine, you could use it for less delicate knits to remove excess water after rinsing. Take care though! Don't do this with cashmere or fragile pieces (angora, lambswool, mohair etc.). And always place it into a laundry garment bag (like the ones used for lingerie) or a pillowcase to avoid any parts of the sweater getting caught up in the machine cogs.
There are specialists who will wash your knits (including cashmere) by hand for you and there are also specialists who will reweaveknitted pieces.
It is always a good idea to let your deodorant dry or set before putting on your sweater, to help avoid deodorant stains.
Since many good knits are made from natural fibers, it is a handy idea to wear a scarf around your neck to provide a buffer between your face makeup and neck grime and the collar of the sweater. It also looks terrific and keeps your neck extra warm during winter. As a bonus, if you are highly sensitive to wool or some other fiber that the sweater is made from, the scarf can serve as a buffer between your skin and the sweater. This is especially useful for turtleneck or high collar styles.
Be careful when using storage boxes such as cardboard boxes. On the one hand, these are preferable to plastic because they let the natural fibers breathe. On the other hand, they attract nibblers such as moths and mice seeking food and nest material. If you wish to use them, check them regularly during storage. Or try a cedar-lined chest or suitcases.
