L’ultima volta abbiamo parlato di PANTALONI, oggi parleremo di GONNE :)

La gonna è per eccellenza sinonimo di femminilità. Negli anni le lunghezze si sono accorciate e allungate. Piccola curiosità: sapete chi è l’inventrice della minigonna (e degli HOT PANTS? GUARDA QUI PER QUALCHE IDEA)? La stilista americana Mary Quant, che si preoccupava del fatto che con la gonna lunga, le donne non riuscissero a correre per prendere il pullman. Sognava una donna più dinamica e indipendente. Chi scelse come modella per il lancio della minigonna? La 17enne Lesley Hornby, detta…Twiggy (Lawson), icona di stile, con quegli occhi da cerbiatta e quella sua espressione da bimba innocente.

Tornando a noi…oggi il trend non ha centimetri nè ampiezze: dalle maxi skirt alle mini, dalle pencil skirt che fasciano le curve alle gipsy, adatte per nascondere ciò che non va. Purtroppo, anche in questo caso il cattivo gusto non manca, con certe immagini che fanno venire gli incubi per almeno un mese ._.

Last time we spoke about PANTS, today we’ll speak about SKIRTS :)

Skirts are the equivalent of femininity. Over the years lenghts have been modified several times. Curiosity: do you know who was the inventor of mini skirt (and HOT PANTS? GIVE A LOOK HERE FOR SOME IDEAS)? The American stylist Mary Quant, who cared about  women could run for taking the bus. She dreamed a more dynamic and independent woman. Who was her choice for the launch of miniskirt? 17 years old Lesley Hornby, known as…Twiggy (Lawson), a style icon, with those doe eyes and her innocent baby face.

Anyway…today’s trends have no cms or sizes: maxi skirts, mini skirts, pencil skirts, which wrap curves, gipsy skirts, which hide what’s wrong. Unfortunately, also in this case cheapness is common and certain images provoke nightmares for at least one month ._.
