Good morning, girls! I take a break from work (what kind of work? Making packages for the impending move to end of month!) For posting on the blog a haul of goods purchased in Korea last month (my goodness, it’s been a month?) .
Let’s start by saying that in Seoul there are many brands of cosmetics, each with its beautiful flagship store, scattered in areas frequented by teenagers and more mainstream. Taking advantage of a day of freedom (XD), I triggered the purchase of these products you see below.
Let’s start with the products of Holika Holika. What you see in the picture is very pretty bag which wrap the purchases. On paper, it is also easier to recycle, and a beautiful color between blue and purple (Noce Moscata, please, what color is it exactly?). Holika Holika is a brand for teenagers. Her testimonial, as with most things in Korea, are a group of idol, the CNBlue, posing on all four decals, together with a delicious Carthusian cat. Upon entering, you seem to have happened in a fairy tale somewhere between pretty and gothic. The predominant color is purple / blue that you see on the bag, mixed with yellow ocher. Holika Holika is a bit ‘of everything from foundation to lipstick, and I must say that, along with Missha, is the more expensive brand that I have met in Korea.
What you see is what I got: two enamels, two gloss and a blush of an unusual mauve. This is the first time I’ve seen one, and I’m not sure how it could be on my face, but I tried it on my hand and it was a beautiful tone that I saw on my skin like Snow White. Taken. I can not wait to spend those hideous pimples on the cheeks (are going to get “those days “…) to prove it. About the lip gloss, I am intrigued by the bright colors. Those are portable, have a good smell (do not taste of pudding, thank heavens), but the color fades away, unfortunately. Patience. In the package there are cotton pads, give them free and I must say that they are perfect to remove make-up face, a little ‘less polish remover. Speaking of nail polishes, I have not tested yet, but color me intrigued. Here they are below.
The photo does not do justice to these two beautiful colors. I’m sorry, but if I had waited for a sunny day, I would have to see you in August! The blue and blue, at least from what I’m concerned. The green, however, is a curious and particular military green. Seen in this light, they lose much of their charm. I hope we can swatch it properly before packing for the move.
And still speaking of nail polishes (my obsession), I present the only two products that I got from Etude House. I was waiting at the airport to join other people. I liked the bottle, so I took them. I chose two colors mat, a gray (but I think a blue dust) and a purple ash. Yes, I do not know how it is possible, but it seems that this has reflections ash glaze. It’s amazing, right?
Peccato davvero.
This, however, is the peach-colored blush that I took from Skin Food. Once opened, I realized that this is a crazy one: The product is very short, and all the jar was filled by the duvet (very nice for charity, but …). I hope to try this too soon, even if it leaves me very puzzled packaging. I would rather pay a little more, but have a little ‘product. This almost looks like a champion than a genuine blush! No, we did not. shame, because the packaging is pretty, but the amount is very little. Too bad.
And these are the glazes of Skin Food. The two on the right are part of the permanent collection, and have a nice flesh color, which I will almost always (I’ll show you how later) to build a small trick camoufflage. The brown, however, is a nice point of chocolate with flakes of gold inside. The special collection (the two left) is called Creamy. The bottle resembles a baby bottle and the color is a nearly-mat. I picked up a yellow and an orange. Yes, me. I look forward to these swatch colors as soon as possible, because really deserve.
