Kristin Bauer promette un Pam-demonio!

La nostra amata Kristin Bauer ha rilasciato un’intervista a Xfinity TV e ha parlato di Pam, di ciò che succederà nella quarta stagione, del rapporto con Eric, con Sookie e con Jessica. Inoltre, si è lasciata sfuggire qualcosa anche sulle streghe cattive…

This season we see a different side of Pam. What can we look forward to?

“This season really is about identity and showing your true colors. We have every possible situation that we could possibly put Pam in to create chaos and she has to react to it. And she’s not a strategist. That was the biggest thing I learned this year: She doesn’t play chess, she doesn’t think two moves ahead. And theses witches this season are throwing the kitchen sink at a lot of people. It’s remarkable the things Pam tries to put order back in her world.”

Questa stagione vedremo un lato diverso di Pam. Cosa ci dovremo aspettare?

“Questa stagione parla dell’identità e di mostrare i tuoi veri colori. Abbiamo ogni possibile situazione in cui potremmo mettere Pam per creare caos e lei deve reagire. E lei non è una stratega. Questa è stata la cosa più importante che ho imparato quest’anno: lei non sa giocare a scacchi, non pensa due mosse in anticipo. E queste streghe in questa stagione stanno gettando nel panico un sacco di gente. E’ notevole la quantità di cose che Pam cerca di rimettere in ordine nel suo mondo. “

I also hear Pam’s headed for trouble…

“Pam gets to kick some ass. She’s got to cover for Eric (Alexander Skarsgard). He’s not himself, and Eric is much more involved with Sookie (Anna Paquin) this year and she’s taking care of him. So that’s interesting, it’s a massive change for Pam because their dynamic has changed. Pam has only one Achilles heel, only one strain of vulnerability and that’s Eric. So to have him not be her rock, her leader, anymore, to not have him needing her in the same way affects her. And then to also have the witches waving their wands, metaphorically- we’re not Harry Potter here – but it’s really challenging. We do get to see’s Pam animalistic side.”

Ho anche sentito che Pam sta per mettersi nei guai …

“Pam arriva a prendere a calci qualche culo. Ha dovuto farlo per coprire Eric (Alexander Skarsgard). Lui non è se stesso, ed Eric è molto più coinvolto con Sookie (Anna Paquin), quest’anno e lei si sta prendendo cura di lui. Ecco, questo è interessante, è un cambiamento enorme per Pam perché la loro dinamica è cambiata. Pam ha un solo tallone d’Achille, solo un ceppo di vulnerabilità e questo è Eric. Quindi, il fatto che lui non sia più la sua roccia, il suo capo, che lui non abbia bisogno di lei allo stesso modo di prima, ha i suoi effetti. E poi avere anche le streghe che agitano le bacchette, metaforicamente -non siamo Harry Potter qui – ma è davvero impegnativo. Arriviamo a vedere il lato animale Pam “.

Will we see more development in the relationship between Pam and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll)? She’s almost like her reluctant fairy-vampmother.

“Totally. We’ve been saying it’s like bad big sister advice. I love the advice that she gives and that when she shows interest in Jessica, it’s when she’s accidentally killed somebody. That’s a fun dynamic that does develop, because I love that it’s really bad advice – she’s like the anti-Carrie Bradshaw. But it’s very practical in the vampire world.”

Vedremo svilupparsi il rapporto tra Pam e Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll)? E ‘quasi come la sua riluttante  vampmadrina fata.

“Totalmente. Abbiamo detto che è come la sorella maggiore che da’ cattivi consigli. Mi piacciono i consigli che dà e che, quando lei mostra interesse per Jessica, è perché Jessica ha accidentalmente ucciso qualcuno. Questa è una dinamica divertente che si sviluppa, perché amo il fatto dei cattivi consigli – lei è come l’anti-Carrie Bradshaw. Ma è una cosa molto praticata nel mondo dei vampiri. “

The Bitch vs. the Witch: Who has the edge, Pam or the spellcasters?
“These witches are a hard opponent for Pam because it’s an unseen opponent. She’d be much more comfortable in a bar brawl. But somebody that can affect your world, possibly even from a distance, is very difficult for her, since she’s not a chess player. So the spells that they’re casting and the chaos they are creating has a pretty wide ripple affect. It really afffects a lot more of Bon Temps than you’d think, and people have to form different alliances to try and combat that. We’re definitely going to find unlikely alliances this season.”

La Cagna contro la strega: Chi è in vantaggio, Pam o gli incantatori?
“Queste streghe sono un avversario difficile per Pam perché si tratta di un avversario invisibile. Lei si sentirebbe molto più a suo agio in una rissa da bar. Ma qualcuno che può influenzare il tuo mondo, probabilmente anche a distanza, è molto difficile per lei, perché lei non è una giocatrice di scacchi. Quindi gli incantesimi che loro fanno e il caos che stanno creando hanno un effetto piuttosto ampio. E interessano davvero molto di più di Bon Temps di quanto si potrebbe pensare, e la gente deve formare alleanze diverse per cercare di combattere tutto ciò. As far as foes go, how do the witches compare? We’ve had vampires, werewolves, fairies, shifters, menads…now witches.

“I mean, the menads were bad, but they didn’t affect Pam, she was out of that storyline, so they could have given the witches a run for their money. But the witches are similar that they can cast these spells and can control people mentally so the witches are pretty bad, so if we’re thinking who could be a worse opponent … aliens could be bad we may have to go to aliens next season. But the witches are bad, especially for Pam.”

Per quanto riguarda i nemici, come confrontiamo le streghe? Abbiamo avuto vampiri, lupi mannari, fate, mutaforme, Menadi … ora delle streghe.

“Voglio dire, le Menadi erano cattive, ma non hanno influenzato Pam, era fuori da quella storyline, sono cattive allo stesso modo. Ma le streghe lo sono anche: possono fare questi incantesimi e controllare le persone mentalmente così le streghe sono piuttosto cattive, perciò se pensiamo chi potrebbe essere un avversario peggiore … gli alieni potrebbero essere cattivi, potremmo inserire gli alieni la prossima stagione. Ma le streghe sono cattive, soprattutto per Pam “

The vampires almost seem like the normal ones now…

“That’s exactly right! To Pam, in the vampire structure, her world is extremely reliable and normal. People are pets or food, the human race is ridiculous, and she has the best maker you could ever have – in her mind she’s a superior being.”

I vampiri sembrano esseri normali adesso …

“E ‘esattamente così! Per Pam, nella struttura del vampiro, il suo mondo è estremamente affidabile e normale. Le persone sono animali o cibo, la razza umana è ridicola, e lei ha il migliore creatore che si possa avere. Nella sua mente lei è un essere superiore “.

Pam is something of a free spirit shall we say when it comes to love. Will we ever see her in a relationship?

“I think that is in the works, a definite possibility. It would be really hysterical to see Pam try to be in a relationship, I mean I can’t even imagine. This year, she definitely has her hands full with her world being turned upside down.”

Pam è una sorta di spirito libero quando si tratta di amore. Riusciremo mai a vederla in un relazione?

“Penso che sia in cantiere, una possibilità ben definita. Sarebbe davvero fantastico vedere Pam cercare di avere una relazione, voglio dire, non riesco nemmeno a immaginarlo. Quest’anno, è sicuramente impegnata con il suo mondo che è stato capovolto “.

Pam is, of course, known for her fabulous wardrobe…will she still be whipping up outrageous outfits this season?

“Pam dresses for every occasion and I was amazed that, no matter how dire the circumstances get this year, she’s still picking the perfect outfit and wearing false eyelashes and lipstick.”

Pam è, naturalmente, conosciuta per il suo guardaroba favoloso … sfoggerà ancora vestiti scandalosi in questa stagione?

“Pam si veste per ogni occasione e mi ha stupita che, non importa quanto terribili siano le circostanze in cui si trova quest’anno, stia ancora scegliendo l’abito perfetto e sta portando ciglia finte e rossetto”.
