Lady Gaga pubblica il testo complete di “Born this way”

Come in un intricato rompicapo, Lady Gaga svela un po’ per volta l’attesissimo singolo Born this way, che vedrà la luce a metà febbraio. Se dal palco dei Video Music Awards 2010 l’eccentrica cantante ne aveva annunciato il titolo cantando, e da facebook e twitter ha invece rivelato le date ufficiali di pubblicazione, con tanto di foto osé, adesso Miss Germanotta, dopo aver rivelato nelle scorse settimane solo un verso della sua nuova canzone, ha deciso di rivelarne il testo completo con tanto di crediti. Born this way, nata così, è stata dunque scritta dalla stessa Lady Gaga, che ne è anche produttrice, insieme Fernando Garibay e DJ White Shadow. Secondo quanto si legge dalla “official lyrics”, il brano potrebbe essere definito una sorta di quello che fu Express Yourself per Madonna, un inno liberatorio, un’incitazione a vivere con orgoglio la propria identità, senza alcuna costrizione o vergogna, e quel verso “God makes no mistakes”, ovvero Dio non commette errori, ne farà senz’altro una roccaforte della community gay da cui è molto amata, e di cui, in quasi due anni, la cantante è diventata già una vera e propria icona.
