Born in Cesenatico (FC) in 1935, after losing his father when he was just a kid, he kept on running the family business together with his mother and the 3 brothers: soon, the stand at the local market became the first step towards a career that wanted him more and more involved in the creation and realization of shoes.He thus began being interested in shoe designing and the choice of materials, trying to set up collaborations with local shopkeepers.
It took very few for him to gain the attention of big names in the Italian fashion industry: Campione and Casadei were two of those who managed to collaborate with this amazing Italian talent, and even the press dedicated him attention - such as Vogue.
