Le migliori cover dei Beatles (secondo Paste Magazine)

Il sito americano Paste Magazine ha stilato la propria (personalissima) classifica delle 50 migliori cover dei Beatles di tutti i tempi. Come già fatto lo scorso anno con la pubblicazione della lista delle migliori cover del repertorio di Bob Dylan, la regola è stata quella di evitare ripetizioni di brani e interpreti. Quindi 50 fifferetni canzoni dei Fab 4 interpretate altrettanti artisti o band.
Le sorprese non sono mancate visto che sono entrate a far parte della classifica anche incisioni non "ufficiali" e versioni di non facile reperibilità. Tutte le posizioni sono state affiancate dal relativo video preso da Youtube e in alcuni casi anche dal link per preascoltare il brano. Per alcuni brani oltre alla versione considerata migliore è stata segnalata anche una seconda cover.
In vetta alla classifica troviamo - a sorpresa - la cover i "I want to hold your hand" cantata da Al Green.
In seconda posizione invece l'unico ex-aequo con Rufus Wainwright e Fiona Apple intrambi interpreti di Across The Universe.
