Io, Caterina Gianoli di La Bibu e Martina Folcia di Diary from Golden Cage, abbiamo creato due outfit: uno per il giorno e l’altro per una serata speciale, con il grandissimo aiuto di Valentina Gravina, responsabile del negozio, pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta.Three fashion bloggers, two total look, an all-female jury and lots, lots of fun. Here are the ingredients for Live Outfit Contest organized by Alessandra Pepe MOMA Style at I Colori dello Shopping store in Milan. Me, Caterina Gianoli of La Bibu and Martina Folcia of Diary from Golden Cage, we have created 2 total looks: one for the day and the other for a special evening with the great help of Valentina Gravina, manager of the store, ready to meet every request.
La parte più divertente, lo ammetto, è stata la ricerca. Sono partita dal look giorno ed ho scelto un bellissimo gilet in eco pelliccia, perfetto con gli shorts, reso ancora più fashion dalla camicia lucida con bottoncini borchiati. Ad ultimare il tutto, decolleté scamosciate con plateau, montgomery nero e scalda collo. Un bell’esempio di come stare al caldo e mantenere un certo stile.The funniest part, it has been the research. I started with the day look and I chose a faux fur vest, perfect with shorts, made even more fashion thanks to a shiny shirt with studded buttons. To complete the whole outfit, suede pumps with platform, montgomery and a warm black neck. A good example of how to stay warm and maintain a certain style.
Per la sera invece, mi sono innamorata di questo abito color cipria con dei bellissimi drappeggi sul davanti. Oltre a dare un tocco di classe al vestito, queste pieghe erano tattiche: addolcivano la pancetta e mettevano in secondo piano i fianchi troppo invadenti. Non c’è sera senza una giacca elegante. Quella che ho scelto ha delle piccole arricciature sulle spalle, perfette per un fisico a pera come il mio. Regalano subito una perfetta proporzione al corpo. Per completare il look, accessori classici come la pochette e le decolletè nere, orecchini di perle e un delizioso anellino regala un punto luce che fa subito elegante. For the evening, I fell in love with this blush-colored dress with beautiful draping on the front. Besides giving a touch of class to the outfit, these folds were tactical: sweeten the tummy and put in the background my hips. I chose a cute jacket with small curls on shoulders, perfect for a pear-shaped body like mine. It Immediately give a perfect proportion to the body. To complete the look, classic accessories like clutch and black décolleté, pearl earrings and a precious ring make all very elegant.
La giuria designata per votare il miglior day & night look era composta da quattro donne a rappresentare ideali di femminilità differenti: Monica Vecchi, titolare di una società di brokeraggio e assicurazioni, nonché del centro benessere Re Luna, partner della serata; Barbara Pizzocaro, responsabile della storica boutique milanese di intimo De Bernardi; Sonia Conca, stilista e designer del marchio Flapper’s e Paola, commercialista e mamma. Chiamate ad esprimere un giudizio su: stile, originalità e personalità con un punteggio da 1 a 5, hanno proclamato vincitrice Martina Folcia, seguita da me e, al terzo posto Caterina. The jury appointed to vote for the best day & night look was composed by four women to represent different ideals of femininity: Monica Vecchi, owner of a brokerage firm and insurance, as well as the Spa Re Luna, partners of the evening, Barbara Pizzocaro, responsible of the historical lingerie boutique in Milan - De Bernardi -, Sonia Conca, stylist and designer of the brand Flapper’s and Paola, accountant and mother. Called to express an opinion on: style, originality and personality with a score from 1 to 5, they proclaimed winner Martina Folco, followed by me and, in third place Caterina.
Ma il vero scopo dell’evento, era far emergere l’importanza della piccola imprenditoria, soprattutto in un settore come quello dell’abbigliamento in cui, a causa dello “strapotere” delle grandi catene, si sta perdendo il valore della vendita assistita, a discapito non solo delle clienti, ma anche della qualità della merce stessa. I Colori dello Shopping è una piccola boutique, un luogo speciale, per uno shopping “vecchia maniera” in cui la cliente non è una delle tante, ma la protagonista assoluta. Se vi trovate a Milano, vi consiglio di fare un salto in questo piccolo negozio: troverete in Valentina la vostra Carlà di “Ma come ti vesti”, subito pronta a consigliarvi su abiti, tessuti e su cosa vi sta meglio. But the real purpose of the event, was to highlight the importance of small stores, especially in clothing field, due to the "excessive power" of the big shops, we are losing the value of being assisted during our shopping. The Colors of Shopping is a small boutique, a special place for "old style" shopping in which the customer is not one of the many, but the protagonist. If you are in Milan, I recommend you to go in this little shop where you will find Valentina, always ready to advise you on clothing, textiles and how you look the best.
