Loggetta delle Grottesche nei Castelli di Lagnasco

La Loggetta delle Grottesche è senza dubbio una delle sale più belle dei Castelli di Lagnasco.
Si trova nell'edificio di Levante ed è attigua al Salone degli Scudi.
A renderla particolare ed unica sono i begli affreschi a grottesca d'ispirazione nordica che la decorano.
Sulle pareti tra lunghi rami intrecciati s'insinuano buffe creature, mentre su un albero spoglio, le cui radici prendono vita da un satiro dormiente, trovano dimora piccoli spiritelli.
Particolari anche colonne che separano la loggia dalla sala degli scudi. Riportano personaggi immaginari, metà umani e metà bestie

The Loggia of the Grotesque is without any doubt one of the most beautiful halls of the Castles of Lagnasco.
It is located in the Levante building and is adjacent to the Hall of Shields.
What made it special and unique are the beautiful grotesque frescoes inspired by the Nordic tradition.
On the walls between decorations of long branches twisted creep funny creatures, while on a bare tree, whose roots come to life from a satyr sleeping, little goblins are homed.
Particular columns separate the loggia from the Hall of the shields. They're painted with imaginary characters, half human and half beast.
