London Parks

Una delle cose assolutamente da vedere a Londra sono i parchi: sono verdissimi e curatissimi ed in questo periodo pieni di splendide aiuole di fiori colorat, sembrano usciti dai romanzi della Austen!
Inoltre ci vivono un sacco di animaletti liberi come papere, cigni e scoiattoli, tutti estremamente socievoli, soprattutto se si accorgono che siete cibo-muniti: si avvicinano senza paura, mangiano subito dalla mano e si lasciano accarezzare senza problemi!
Inutile dire che ci avrei passato intere giornate!
Oltretutto sono tenuti benissimo non solo i parchi più importanti, ma anche i giardinetti più piccoli e i giardini privati e condominiali. Ma penso che gli inglesi abbiano una certa predisposizione per la botanica (e probabilmente il clima li aiuta) perchè ho notato che  anche fuori Londra, nonostante le città siano diversissime, i giardini sono sempre perfetti.

One of the must see in London are the parks: they are very green and well-kept and in this period full of beautiful flowerbeds, seem come out from the novels of Jane Austen!
Also there a lot of little animals as ducks, swans and squirrels, all very sociable, especially if they see that you are food-equipped: they approach you without fear, eat right from the hand and you can pet them without problems!
Needless to say, I would spend whole days there!
Besides, they are meticulously kept not only the most important parks, but also smaller gardens and private gardens But I think that the English have a certain predisposition for botany ( probably the weather helps) because I have noticed that even outside London, despite the cities are very different, the gardens looks always perfect

HYDE PARK è il parco più grande e famoso di Londra, ma secondo me anche il meno interessante.
Non che non sia bellissimo: è è enorme e molto ben curato, ma a parte le distese immense di prato "all'inglese" è fin troppo simile ai parchi che abbiamo qui in Italia o a quelli francesi...
HYDE PARK is the largest and most famous park in London, but I think also the least interesting. Not that it is not beautiful: it is huge and very well cared, but apart from the vast expanses of  "English" lawn is too similar to the parks that we have here in Italy or French ones ...






 Siamo stati fortunati: il giorno in cui siamo andati ad Hyde Park c'erano le celebrazioni per l'anniversario della conclusione della seconda guerra mondiale, abbiamo anche visto passare la regina!^^  Ancher se in realtà era in macchina e si vedeva ben poco a parte il cappellino lilla. La gente era tutta in fermento, mentre noi, da perfetti romani, ci siamo girati un'attimo e poi abbiamo continuato tranquillamente a fare le foto alla banda! :)
We were lucky: the day when we went to Hyde Park, there were celebrations for the anniversary of the end of World War II, we have also saw the queen! ^^ Even if she was actually in the car and saw very little apart from the lilac hat People were all in turmoil, but we, like perfect Romans, turned just for a while and then we quietly continued to take pictures to the band! :)















 In Inghilterra gli alberi sono perfetti per arrampicarcisi: bitorzoluti e con i rami bassi, altro che i pini di Roma!




Regent's Palace, la residenza della regina quendo non si trova a Buckingham Palace.
Sinceramente, a parte il cancello, non è un granchè...
REGENT'S PARK: è delizioso, con una passeggiata tra le aiuole fiorite che si conclude con un roseto bellissimo, che purtroppo cominciava a fiorire proprio quando ci siamo andati noi. Poi c'è un laghetto stupendo incorniciato da piante ed alberi, sembra uscito da una favola!
REGENT'S PARK: is just lovely, with a walk through the flower beds that ends with a beautiful rose garden, which unfortunately began to bloom just when we were there Then there is a beautiful lake surrounded by plants and trees, seems came out of a fairy tale!
