Manuele Galante classe 1985 nato a Bra in Piemonte, stilista piemontese..Entrare nel mondo della moda è una passione voluta da sempre.Un piccolo aneddoto: pur avendo fatto l’istituto tecnico mi ritrovavo a disegnare abiti nelle ore di storia..e la professoressa sapendo che non seguivo non mi rimproverava ma anzi a fine lezione mi dava il suo personale giudizio sui miei disegni..e tutte le volte mi poneva la stessa domanda ovvero come mai non avessi scelto il liceo artistico ma l’istituto tecnico!!
La risposta?
La vera risposta non la so ancora ora..ma so che quando ho avuto l’occasione, sebbene lavorassi già, mi sono iscritto all’Accademia di Belle Arti nel corso di Fashion Design, dove attraverso il disegno, l’anatomia, la storia del Costume e della Moda, la storia dell’Arte, la modellistica e sartoria ho allargato il mio bagaglio culturale del mondo dell’Arte e della Moda..
La prima collezione?
Per la prima mini collezione (realizzata a mano da me e da mia zia ex insegnante) non avevo ben chiaro cosa volevo rappresentare..ma mi era chiaro che materiali utilizzare..i migliori tessuti per fare risaltare un abito: seta, shantung, raso e taffetas associati con contrasti di colore ai pizzi!
La svolta?
Nella seconda minicollezione sono stato letteralmente folgorato dalle opere del grande Roberto Capucci, poiche’ ho avuto la possibilita’ di visitare una mostra con le sue creazioni e nonostante ci fossero cartelli a caratteri cubitali con scritto: NON TOCCARE ho toccato gli abiti che sembravano immacolati, sculture vere e proprie, magia resa realta’.Tornato a casa avevo ben chiaro cosa volevo fare:omaggiare il grande maestro..Senza fare foto o guardare su internet, prendendo spunto da un solo suo abito dove è rappresentata una farfalla ho deciso di interpretare a modo mio quella farfalla..quindi non si trattava di una copia ma una mia reinterpretazione..che come è stato per il periodo dell’Arte Neoclassica la netta distinzione tra copia e imitazione: la prima riproduce l’aspetto esteriore dell'arte antica; la seconda ne estrae al contrario l’essenza, lo spirito, ed è quindi un’interpretazione, pertanto, originale.
Questo unito al fatto di avere poca memoria (in gergo da pesce rosso :D) ha reso il mio abito farfalla completamente differente da quello del grande maestro..e di questo passo ho realizzato grazie ai consigli e l’aiuto di una grande sarta altri abiti ispirandomi alla natura agli animali alla fantasia e alle fiabe!!
Altre ispirazioni?
la terza minicollezione e’ stata ispirata da un tessuto il quale mi era stato commisionato di disegnare un abito partendo dal tessuto..inoltre ero alla scoperta del favoloso mondo di uno dei piu’ grandi geni della moda: Alexander McQueen.il tutto quindi ha dato vita ad altri abiti scultura ma piu’ attuali, avendo sempre la natura come riferimento ma anche l’astrattismo ma non inteso come negare la rappresentazione della realtà ma solamente per esaltare i propri sentimenti attraverso forme, linee e colori.La quarta collezione invece e’ stata ispirata poiche’ mi e’ capitato in mano un libro sugli origami, arte orientale di piegare la carta per creare forme, ed ho pensato se si puo’ fare con la carta perche’ non provare con i tessuti??e mi sono ritrovato notti intere a fare cartamodelli che prendevano la forma di un pinguino, di un cigno, fiori e tc..
Quali emozione ti da il tuo lavoro?
vedere partire un progetto da un mio disegno, passando per la modellistica ( ovvero realizzare in carta il disegno) , fare la scelta giusta e tagliare i tessuti affinche ‘ si ottenga il risultato voluto attraverso la sartorialita’ piu’ minuziosa per avere un risultato che solo chi vede crescere un proprio sogno puo’ capire l’enorme felicita’ ed emozione di vedere realizzato con le proprie mani ogni singolo outfit.
il tuo obbiettivo?
Fin dalla prima mini collezione ad oggi l'idea di base della creazione degli abiti e' stata: STUPIRE.Ovviamente sarebbe troppo facile realizzare un tubino semplice..ma se a quel tubino gli aggiungi una struttura che fa quasi dimenticare che quello e' un abito..questo crea STUPORE, colpisce l'occhio; se a questo si aggiunge la psicologia del colore ecco allora che si puo' creare veramente MAGIA.Quindi l'unione di forme inusuali ma sinuose e in armonia con i forti contrasti di colore e tessuti adatti sono stati il filo conduttore delle mie mini collezioni fino a qualche mese fa.Infatti da qualche mese a questa parte sto disegnando delle collezioni per cosi dire piu' “mettibili”partendo da un concetto ben definito: realizzare abiti per chi indossera’ i miei abiti e non realizzarli in base alla circostanza nella quale li indosseranno! Quindi l’obiettivo focale è: LA DONNA!
Le sfilate?
Ogni sfilata ha un suo perchè: ci sono sfilate come quelle di bellezza dove i capi degli stilisti servono a far risaltare la bellezza delle candidate senza per questo passare in secondo piano ma contribuire alla (come ad esempio lo è stato in occasione delle sfilate di MISS MONDO ITALIA selezioni della Lombardia dove la vincitrice a livello Nazionale nonché numero 6 al mondo nella finale di Miss World 2010 in Cina, Giada Pezzaioli, ha indossato alcunidei miei abiti con estrema felicita’)In altre sfilate invece l’abito è il vero protagonista e allor asi cerca di creare vere e porpire opere che creino stupore, ammirazione ed emozioni.Ed infine altre ancora dove si è in molti stilisti e la capacita’ di risaltare sugli altri è determinata dai particolari..dai dettagli degli abiti.
Qual'e' la tua idea di donna?
Nei miei abiti non c’e’ un idea di donna unica e definita.E’ in continua evoluzione.Oggi le donne sottolineano la proprio individualita'…l' importante è guardare a donne non omologate in un unico stile: questo e' il vero stimolo della creativita'Le donne che ho in mente amano giocare con lo stile.E le donne ne sono davvero capaci.
A chi dici grazie?
tutto questo non sarebbe stato possibile senza l’appoggio e la fiducia dei miei genitori in primis e della mia compagna, che ogni giorno mi dimostrano nonostante le difficolta’ generali di tutto il mondo di quest’ultimo periodo.
le opportunita commerciali ?

Manuele Galante class born in 1985 in Bra, Piedmont, Piedmont designer ..Enter the world of fashion is a passion has always wanted.A little anecdote: although it has the technical institute I found myself designing clothes in the hours of history .. and not knowing that the teacher did not scold me but instead I followed at the end of the lesson he gave me his personal opinion on my drawings and all .. Whenever I put the same question that is why I had not chosen a school of art but the technical school!
The answer?
The real answer now .. do not know yet but I know when I had the opportunity, although work already, I joined the Academy of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, where through drawing, anatomy, history Costume and Fashion, art history, modeling and tailoring I expanded my cultural world of Art and Fashion ..
The first collection?
For the first mini collection (hand made by me and my aunt's former teacher) I was not quite clear what I wanted to represent me .. but .. it was clear that the best materials to use to bring out a dress fabrics: silk, shantung, satin and associated taffeta with contrasting color to the lace!
The turning point?
In the second mini-collection, I was literally struck by the works of the great Roberto Capucci, because 'I had the chance' to visit an exhibition of his creations, and although there were signs in red letters that read: DO NOT TOUCH I touched the clothes that looked immaculate, sculptures themselves, made magic reality '.Back home I was very clear what I wanted to do:pay homage to the great master ..Not to take pictures or look on the Internet, utilizing only one where her dress is represented a butterfly, I decided to interpret it my way that butterfly .. so it was not a copy .. but my interpretation was that as the neoclassical period of art the distinction between copy and imitation: the first reproduces the appearance of ancient art, and the second extracts the contrary, the essence, spirit, and it is an interpretation, therefore, original.This coupled with the fact that you have little memory (called by gold fish: D) has made my butterfly dress completely different from that of the great teacher .. and at this rate I realized thanks to the advice and help of a great seamstress other clothes inspiration from nature to animals to fantasy and fairy tales!
Other inspirations?
and the third mini collection 'was inspired by a fabric which I had been commissioned to design a garment from fabric .. I was also discovering the wonderful world of one of the most' great geniuses of fashion: Alexander McQueen.then all the other clothes has created sculpture but more 'present, always with the nature as a reference but also the abstract but not intended to deny the representation of reality but only to enhance their feelings through shapes, lines and colors.The fourth collection and instead 'was inspired because' and I 'happened up a book on origami, the Oriental art of folding paper to create forms, and I thought if you can' do with the paper 'cause not try the fabrics? ?and I found myself all night long to make patterns that took the form of a penguin, a swan, flowers and tc ..
What emotion you from your work?
Starting to see a project from one of my drawings, through modeling (in paper or realize the drawing), make the right choice and cut the fabrics so that 'you get the desired result through tailoring' more 'thorough to get a result that only who sees increase their own dream can 'understand the enormous happiness' and is exciting to see accomplished with your own hands every single outfit.
your goal?
Since the first mini collection to date, the basic idea of the creation of clothing and 'was: AMAZING.Obviously it would be too easy to make a simple sheath dress .. but if that's shift dress add a structure that makes you almost forget that and that 'this creates a habit .. AMAZING, hits the eye: if we add to this the psychology of color here So that you can 'create truly MAGIC.So the combination of unusual shapes and sinuous but in harmony with the strong contrast of colors and fabrics are suitable for the theme of my mini collections until a few months ago.In fact for some months now I'm designing collections, so to speak more 'mettibili "from a well-defined concept: to create clothes for those who will wear' my clothes and do not achieve according to the circumstances in which they wear!Therefore, the central goal is: A WOMAN!
The fashion shows?
