MFW day 3: Fratelli Rossetti SS15 presentation

Fratelli Rossetti presents the "Candies", painted entirely by hand, in which the application of color is done in order to create that gradient you see in the picture. A timeless classic, stolen from the male wardrobe, this is presented in a variety of warm and cozy shades and also additional feature is the fact of being unlined and lightweight, perfect, therefore, also worn without socks. In the same family, the "Toledo Bicolor", slippers are also hand-painted with trompe-l'oeil effects. The result is a product of superior craftsmanship, which has cross-references in forms of seventeenth-century Italian culture, such as the Harlequin.




Fratelli Rossetti presenta le francesine Candies, dipinte completamente a mano e nelle quali la stesura del colore avviene in modo da creare quell'effetto sfumato che vedete in foto. Un modello classico senza tempo, rubato dal guardaroba maschile, questo viene presentato in svariate tonalità calde ed avvolgenti ed inoltre caratteristica addizionale è il fatto di essere sfoderate e leggere, perfette dunque anche indossate senza calze. Della stessa famiglia, le Toledo Bicolor, pantofole anch'esse dipinte a mano con effetti trompe-l'œil. Il risultato è un prodotto di alta manifattura, che ha dei rimandi nelle maschere seicentesche della cultura italiana, come l’Arlecchino.
