The fashion week wheel is still spinning and taking its last round in Paris and Milan is wrapping up its shows.Maybe it's gone unnoticed but quite a few designers showed complementary collections between the menswear shows back in January and the past few days.The resemblace lays in the outifts, the ispiration behind them and in the location/runways as well.
La ruota della settimana della moda sta ancora girando e l'ultimo round tocca or a Parigi mentre Milano sta chiude i battenti.Forse e' una oca che non e' stata molto notata ma un numero crescente di stilista ha presentato delle collezioni complementari tra quelle del menswear di gennaio e queste dei giorni scorsi. La somiglianza sta negli outfit, l'ispirazione e nelle location e passerelle stesse.
Prada, for instance, showed in the same location, with the same neon huge cubic lights and patterned carpet in different colours; Dolce e Gabbana had a similar scenography of a disused interior Baroque villa and DSquared2 the high-school theme/classroom theme.I paired up, like in the popular TV game show 'Perfect Match', some outifts from the same designer, menwear and womenswear, that would make a great looking couples :-)
Prada, per esempio, ha sfilato nella stessa location, con le stesse luci cubiche al neon ed il tappeto geometrico ma di colori diversi; Dolce e Gabbana aveva una scenografia simili di una villa barocca in disuso e DSquared2 il tema della scuola superiore/classe.Ho accoppiato, come nel celeberrimo programma televisivo 'Il Gioco delle Coppie', alcuni outfit dello stesso stilista, collezione uomo e donna, che formerebbero una coppia di grand'effetto :-)
