Dopo il grande successo di “Vespa Venice”, Luca Moretto ci riprova con una “BUGATTI”!
Stavolta l’artista si presenta allo Spazio Tadini di Milano con un supporter d’eccezione: SARATOGA
Sono passati due mesi dell’ennesima conferma per l’artista veneto che viene intervistato in una community
mondiale, “Do You Vespa?”, intervista dove Moretto racconta della sua arte e della disabilità che l’ha
scatenata. Luca Moretto non nasconde di essere un artista disabile, ha perso una gamba a seguito di un
grave caso di malasanità nel lontano 1999, e da 15 anni vive con atroci dolori che non trovano risoluzione,
nonostante sia seguito dai maggiori esperti in Italia per la sindrome di cui soffre. Ebbene, nel 2006 Luca
ha iniziato il suo cammino nel mondo dell’arte e fino ad oggi ha dato prova della sua caparbietà e voglia di
tornare a gioire. Racconta sempre che l’arte gli ha ridato la vita e lui ritiene che se il male lo ha portato
all’arte allora è giusto che questo abbia un senso, Luca vuole dimostrare a chi vive nella sofferenza come lui,
che la speranza la troviamo dentro noi stessi. La disabilità infatti, gli rende la vita ed il lavoro difficili,
ma lui non molla e porta avanti con tenacia i suoi impegni.
Di recente l’ennesimo successo artistico dopo l’intervista su Wide, il magazine di casa Piaggio
e il “Temporary Vespa Museum”, il Museo Piaggio temporaneo allestito in occasione dell’ultimo
“Vespa World Days”, svoltosi a giugno a Mantova. Per l’occasione Vespa Venice era l’unica vespa d’arte
che lo staff ha portato dalla numerosa collezione di vespe d’arte del Museo di Pontedera.
Ricordiamo che Vespa Venice è in esposizione permanente al Museo Piaggio di Pontedera (PI) ancora
per l’intero anno 2015.Ora, l’artista ha deciso di lavorare su una Bugatti! E con orgoglio promette che sarà un successo.
Ma… C’è un ma! La Bugatti che Moretto presenterà a Milano presso la Galleria-Museo Spazio Tadini, è
una 4 ruote, si, ma una “macchinina a pedali”! In occasione, infatti, del Milan Games Week 2014 che si
svolge a Milano dal 24 al 26 Ottobre, lo Spazio Tadini e la curatrice Caterina Seri hanno selezionato
15 artisti contemporanei e li hanno invitati a creare un’opera d’arte “giocabile”, così Moretto ha colto
l’occasione per un nuovo progetto.” ero appena uscito dal colloquio con Francesco Tadini, e mentre andavo verso il centro di Milano,
i miei occhi vengono catturati dalla vetrina di un negozio di giocattoli. In bella mostra vi erano due
macchinine a pedali! Entro, guardo, carine, ma qualcosa non mi convince… Il colore forse, una
verde scuro e l’altra rossa… soprattutto il fatto che erano repliche di un’auto d’epoca francese. Così
ho desistito e il giorno successivo, facendo una ricerca, scopro che la stessa azienda faceva anche
una replica della BUGATTI B35 del 1930, un’auto sportiva e per giunta di derivazione italiana. E così
questa volta ho deciso di non lavorare con colori e pennello come per la Vespa, ma di usare quel
materiale che ormai ha consacrato il mio stile e con cui dal 2006 lavoro e che stupisce ogni volta
gli spettatori… Questa volta ho ribattezzato l’opera con il nome “BUGATTI B35 – Color Drops” ©,
perché in effetti è questo effetto “gocce di colore” che compone la mia ultima neonata. “Cosi, oggi Luca si messo a siliconare la piccola monoposto a firma Bugatti e l’ha riempita di estro e
vivacità così come ha sempre fatto con le sue opere. La sua allegria, la libertà e la voglia di vivere vengono
espressi benissimo nei mille colori che l’artista usa con vera maestria. Moretto miscela impegno,
passione e voglia di lavorare al massimo delle proprie possibilità sempre, ogni giorno dedito a cercare
di fare il meglio per creare stupore e fascino nell’occhio di chi guarda. E chi si avvicina alle sue opere non
può non rimanere stupito! Nelle sue opere si trovano qualità e precisione, l’uso, poi, di materiali sempre
nuovi e di alta qualità, insieme al voler comunicare bene, hanno fatto si che le sue opere arrivassero
ad eventi di rilievo internazionale, come il Fuorisalone di Milano nel 2011, il Padiglione Italia della
54^ Biennale di Venezia, tra il 2011 e 2012, Art Monaco-Montecarlo, fino alla partecipazione ad un
serie di eventi in Cina.Insomma, la volontà e la capacità di guardare avanti hanno fatto si che una delle aziende leader
nella produzione di silicone, abbia deciso di credere in lui dandogli supporto. Da un mese
circa Moretto ha iniziato una collaborazione con la SARATOGA, e per l’artista questo è motivo di
grande orgoglio, perchè attraverso una serie di tappe importanti è riuscito a toccare vette che finora

It has been two months since the last interview of Luca Moretto on a world wide community “Do Yoy Vespa?”
where he talks about his art and the disability that led him into this world. Luca Moretto doesnt hide the fact
that he is a disabled artist, he has lost a leg after a medical malpractice in 1999, since that moment he
keeps living with a very strong pain that cant find solution despite the support of the italian leading experts.
In 2006 Luca has began his path in the art world and until today has given proof of his willfulness and desire
to joy. He always tells that art restored his life and he believes that if evil led him into this world.. it is fair to
make it worth, Luca wants to show people with his same pain that there is hope, and we can find it
within ourselves. The disability makes his life and work really hard, despite all the obstacles he faces, he
doesnt give up and keeps carrying on all his commitments.After recent successes such as the interview on Wide, the magazine of Piaggio and the “Temporary
Vespa Museum”, Museo Piaggio temporary set up at the last “Vespa World Days”, held in June in Mantua.
For this particular occasion, “Vespa Venice” was the only Vespa Piaggio art that the staff led by the
large collection of artistic Vespa in Museum of Pontedera. We remind you that the Vespa Venice is on
permanent display at the Museo Piaggio in Pontedera (PI) for the entire year 2015.Now, the artist has decided to work on a Bugatti! And he proudly promises it will be a success. But…
there is a but! The Bugatti tha Moretto will present in Milan at Galleria-Space Museum Tadini, is a 4-wheel,
yes, but a ” pedal toy car”! In occasion of the Milan Games Week 2014 that takes place in Milan from
October 24 to 26, the Tadini Space and the curator Caterina Seri have selected 15 contemporary artists
and have invited them to create a “playable” work of art so Moretto took the opportunity for a new project.” I was just out of the interview with Francesco Tadini, and as I was walking to the center of Milan, my eyes
were captured by the window of a toy store. On display there were two pedal cars! So I decided to go inside
the store.. they looked nice, but something was missing … The color maybeone in dark green and the
other in red … or maybe the fact that they were replicas of a vintage car in France. So the next day I decided
to make some research and I discovered that the same company used to make a replica of the 1930
BUGATTI B35, a sports car and, moreover, with Italian origin. So this time I decided not to work with colors
and brush like I did for the Vespa, but to use that material that is now devoted to my style and which, since
2006, amazes every time the audience… This time I renamed the piece “BUGATTI B35 – Color Drops” ©
because it is indeed this “color drops” effect that defines my last creation. “So Luca has started to work at the small Bugatti signed car and filling it with flair and vivacity with the
same passion he uses for all his works. His joy, freedom and love for life are expressed very well in many
colors that he uses with great mastery. Moretto mixes always commitment, passion and desire to work to
the best of his ability and every day is devoted to trying to do the best to create a feeling of wonder and
fascination in the eye of the beholder. And whoever approaches his works can only be amazed! In his works
you will find quality and precision, the use of new high-quality materials and last but not least the wish
to communicate well.. all these elements have made possible for all his work to arrive at international events
such as the Fuorisalone in Milan 2011, the Italian Pavilion of the 54th Venice Biennale, between 2011 and
2012, Art Monaco-Monte Carlo, and also a series of events in China.In short, the will and the ability to look forward meant that one of the leading companies in the production
