Quartier Libre è il nuovo libro fotografico di Lauren Laveder. Raccoglie i suoi Moon Games: attimi d’intimità con l’astro notturno, nei quali la luna si presta ad un’ironia semplice, del quotidiano.  Lauren la reinventa con freschezza. Ce la mostra in veste fantastica e surreale usando pochissi elementi: essenziali sono solo la lune e una o alcune figure umane. Lo scatto è intuitivo, semplice, porge uno sguardo infantile ad un soggetto rappresentato senza accumulo di lirismo, senza sospiri malinconici. Un esempio di genuino spirito ludico che accantona il vecchio romanticismo.

Now, the Moon has just leave the clouds, for the moment! It’s the best moment to
photograph, because the Moon has the same luminosity as the landscape: all is
well exposed.

One more Sabine’s idea: paint the Moon in black to make people believe they see
a Moon eclipse! I’m sure you thought it was. But fortunatly for us, the paint
can’t stay for a long on the Moon because of its extreme temperatures.
