My 17th b-day: desires

No, ancora con la scuola non ho finito! Non posso crederci :(
Sabato come vi ho già detto nel post precedente è il mio compleanno ma la mia amica Chiara ha organizzato la festa del suo 18esimo proprio quel giorno per aspettare la mezzanotte quindi la stessa cosa dovrò fare io ma domani sera: aspetterò la mezzanotte con la mia famiglia e Mattia e Nicola, il boyfriend di mia sorella. Supercena, supertorta e poi sicuramente da qualche parte, ancora non siamo riusciti a programmare tutto! Numerose sono le domande che mi pongono le amiche o i parenti per sapere cosa sia meglio regalarmi, ma io non lo so davvero..non chiedo mai vestiti, borse o altro perchè sono cose che devo scegliere da sola: sono molto esigente e non mi va di indossare qualcosa che non mi piace! Quindi ho chiesto libri: libri libri libri. Amo leggere, mi isolo in un mondo tutto mio e il tempo passa in fretta, la noia di alcuni monotoni pomeriggi estivi non si sente affatto ed è un ottimo esercizio per il linguaggio e per la mente. La lettura è cultura. Io vado matta per i romanzi. Da un pò ne ho adocchiato uno che si intitola "L'estate francese" di Lesley Lokko; l' immagine in copertina è molto dolce e se vogliamo anche molto chic, la ragazza infatti indossa un costume meraviglioso di un azzurro altrettanto romantico..

My holidays aren't started, I cannot believe it :(
I'm going to be 17, but my friend Chiara has organized her 18th party on Sarturday (my b-day) so I've to do this too, but tmorrow night. I think I will be with Mattia, Nicola (My sister's boyfriend) and my family: superdinner, supercake and then, surely, in different places, we don't know which it will be. A lot of friends and people of my family ask me what would I like for my b-day but I really don't know.. I never answer with clothes or bags because I've to choose them, I'm a demanding person and I don't love wearing something I don't like. So I've asked books: books books books. I love reading, I'm in a different world, my world, and it's an excellent exercise for the language and the mind. Reading is culture. I'm crazy for romances. Recently I've seen "French summer" written by Lesley Lokko (I don't know her!); there's a very sweet and chic cover, the girl, infact, wears a wonderful bathsuit of a very romantic blue..

Non vedo l' ora di averlo!
