My Summer.

Siamo ormai a metà Settembre e ci avviamo verso la fine dell'estate. Per me questo significa una nuova avventura: l'università.Mi sono trovata di fronte ad una scelta tra il Politecnico di Milano e la IUAV, dopo aver affrontato i test d'ingresso, ma alla fine ho scelto la seconda. Frequenterò la triennale di Design della Moda-Arti Multimediali a Venezia. Credo e mi auspico che questo corso mi possa offrire ciò che cerco.L'impegno di questi ultimi mesi purtroppo mi ha tenuta molto più lontana dal blog di quanto avrei voluto, impedendomi di percorrere passo-passo la mia avventura con voi. Per questo voglio tornare indietro, a Maggio, per rivivere quei giorni insieme grazie ai post su Instagram; momenti significativi e outfit.

We are at the middle of September and the end of the Summer is close. For me it means a new adventure: the university.I had to make a choice between the Politecnico in Milan and the IUAV, before I faced the admission tests, but I've finally chosen the second one. I'll attend the triennal of Fashion and Visual Design. I think and I hope that this course will be perfect for me.The commitment of these months has unfortunately kept me more distant from the blog than I would, impeding me to drive step by step my adventure with you. For this reason I wanto to come back to May to live again those days together thanks to my posts on Instagram; important moments and outfits.




Con Maggio si inizia a sentire il profumo di estate; le giacche diventano meno pesanti, fino ad essere rimosse. Il nostro Giugno però non è stato molto clemente, riguardo al clima. Alcuni che come me erano alle porte dell'Esame di Stato sono stati contenti delle giornate nuvolose; invece io amo le giornate di sole, perché mi mettono il buonumore e mi permettono di studiare mentre mi godo il tepore dei raggi.

When May starts you can perceive the smell of Summer; jackets becomes lighter and then are put back. However, our June hasn't been really clement about weather. Some students who, as me, were next to the graduation exam had been glad of the cloudy days; but I love sunny days because make me happy and make me feel good and let me study sunbathing. 

Tra gite al mare, in campagna e studio matto intervallato da golose merende le giornate si accorciano ed iniziano a colorarsi. L'esame si avvicina sempre più e l'ansia per un nuovo cammino scolastico inizia ad affacciarsi, più vicino che mai. "Dove andrò? Cosa farò?" sono domande che mi vessano più che la maturità stessa, la cui importanza è per me relativa.Between trips to the sea, to the country and a crazy study spaced out with greedy snacks days shorten and start colouring. The exam is even nearer and the anxiety for the new scholastic walk starts exposing, closer than ever. "Where will I go? What will I do?" are questions which burden me more than the graduation itself, whose importance is relative, for me.


















Le lezioni finiscono ufficialmente e si inizia a superare la libertà, seppur dietro ad un alto scoglio. Purtroppo sono una persona ansiosa e ho accumulato tanta negatività in questi anni. Ho sempre avuto una media piuttosto alta e, nonostante sia consapevole di aver scelto la strada più tortuosa, sono in pace con me stessa ed orgogliosa di me. L'esame è stato un'occasione per approfondire argomenti che mi interessavano molto, che hanno dato vita alla mia tesina "Minimalismo e kitsch, eleganza e cattivo gusto".
Lessons finish officially and I start feeling the smell of freedom, alothough there is still a big ostacle. Unfortunately I am an anxious person and I've piled a big negativity in these years. I've always had a quite high grade and, even if I am conscious that I have chosen the hardest way, I am in peace with myself and proud of me.The exam has been an occasion to deepen really interesting topics, which have given life to my essay "Minimalism and kitsch, elegance and cheapness".



















Tutto finisce, finalmente. Con Luglio iniziano anche le mie vacanze, anche se caratterizzate dal perenne peso dei test d'ingresso. La scelta definitiva è design, ma dove? Decido di provare al Politecnico di Milano e alla IUAV e basta, siccome le prove nel resto d'Italia si accavallano. Però mi merito qualche giorno in cui staccare totalmente il cervello. Io e il mio ragazzo optiamo per un Adventure Park vicino a Genova che si rivela impegnativo ma davvero emozionante. E non mi lascio nemmeno mancare i piaceri dell'estate; mi ritaglio momenti di shopping e interi pomeriggi al mare, anche se sempre con l'Alpha Test in borsa per impegnare i momenti morti. A coronare la fine del liceo, il viaggio di (im)maturità con i miei amici, di cui vi ho già parlato qui.E come non citare il concerto di Mengoni? A pochi giorni, il primo test a Milano, che fallisco per una manciata di punti. Evidentemente, non era destino che andassi lì!

All stops, finally. With July also my holidays start, even if are characterized by the eternal weight of the admission tests. The final choice is design, but where? I opt only for the Politecnico in Milan and the IUAV because the proofs in the rest of Italy overlap.But I deserve some days to disconnect my mind from the world. My boyfriend and me decide to go to an Adventure Park near Genoa which reveals binding but also really exciting. And I neither give up the pleasure of Summer; I cut moments for shopping and whole afternoons at the beach, although I always take with me the Alpha Test to fill the holes. To crown the end of the high school, the (im)maturity trip with my friends, I have alredy talked about here.

 

Dopo giornate di mare, è il tempo di partire per Vienna. La sosta in aeroporto è lunga ed è l'occasione perfetta per leggere un libro. Di questa città meravigliosa vi parlerò presto in modo più approfondito, perché merita davvero.L'estate sta finendo e sto per affrontare una nuova emozionante avventura. E a voi cosa riserva il futuro?After beach days, it's time to go to Vienna. The stop at the aitport is long and it is the perfect ccasion to read a book.
