Nautical stripes trend 2013

One of the biggest trends this season is undoubtedly the striped style: a sensational return from the overpast.
A hint you will see the first time between the late ’30s and early ’40s, when the first shirt to wear horizontal stripes is the actress Ida Lupino.
In those years, specifically in ’35, Coco Chanel invented a style Lady Sailor: Breton shirt paired with shorts or pants typical of sailors.
The real boom of this mood, however, belongs to the ’60s with movie icons such as Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, Kim Novak and James Dean.
This year the lines are repeated and strongly backed by the world’s most important Maison: horizontal, vertical, diagonal and also in total look perfect mood for a retro chic.
The merit of this trend is its versatility, the major trend is the mix and match, or pull over polka dots or other patterns, mixing them together.

Un accenno si vedrà la prima volta tra la fine degli anni ’30 e gli inizi degli anni ’40,quando ad indossare la prima maglia a righe orizzontali è l’attrice Ida Lupino.
Sempre in quegli anni,precisamente nel ’35,Coco Chanel inventò lo stile Lady Sailor: maglia Bretone abbinata a shorts o pantaloni tipici dei marinai.
Il boom vero e proprio di questo mood appartiene però agli anni ’60 con icone cinematografiche del calibro di Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, Kim Novak e James Dean.
Quest’anno le righe sono riproposte e fortemente volute dalle Maison più importanti del mondo:orizzontali, verticali, diagonali e anche in versione total look per un perfetto mood retrò chic.
Il pregio di questa tendenza è la versatilità,il maggiore trend è il mix and match,ovvero accostare pois o altre fantasie,mescolandole insieme.
Oggi ho voluto creare un outfit partendo proprio dalla bellissima maglia a righe di Superdry che troverete qui.
E’ una maglia dalla lavorazione molto particolare: è tessuta infatti con alcuni tocchi di colori fluo,come potete vedere dalle foto,e posso assolutamente dire che questo brand vanta qualità estrema e cura insuperabile dei dettagli.
