WHAT'S BEEN SAID ABOUT NITROVILLE LATELY:
'Nitroville's debut album Can't Stop What's Comin' is the best Straight Ahead, No Nonsense Rock 'N' Roll since Black Country Communion... Tola Lamont, not only holds her own up against any power singer of today, but against the best from yesteryear...'. Bluesundergroundnetwork.com, Canada.
'Excellently tight and hot-rockin’ and rollin’ blues based band from North London with an amazing frontlady in the Anne Wilson sounding, ‘Tola Lamont’ who will grab you very easily with their Southern sounds of the USA for sure'. Glenn Milligan, Metalliville.
"Nitroville offer blues-rock with some neatly stacked tunes on Can’t Stop What’s Comin’. With a singer in Tola Lamont who brings to mind Lynne Jackaman of Saint Jude, this lot are worth checking out". Classic Rock Magazine.
'Kurt Michael Boeck delivers to the absolute max. His guitar work is the proverbial relentless freight train'. Andy Barnes, Mudkiss, UK.
"Kurt Michael Boeck’s guitar riffs are huge and groove-laden. Tola Lamont’s vocal style is very big sounding as well, as the band just has a rock n’ roll feel to them, which you don’t get with a lot of today’s rock and metal bands". Tony Cannella, Femme Metal.
'Blues Hardrock at its best'. Zaid Couri – Total Rock Radio, UK.
Formed in early 2010 by vocalist Tola Lamont and guitarist Kurt Michael Boeck, Nitroville means straight-forward and unfiltered blues driven Hard Rock'n'Roll. In late 2010, Fussi Andersen from Denmark joined the band to underpin Kurt Michael Boeck's Texan guitar style with his hard driving bass lines. After spending six months creating and maturing their signature freight train sound, NitroVille produced an eleven track album with renowned producer Mark Waterman (Ride, Smashing Pumpkins) at London’s Fortress Studios (Biffy Clyro, Nickleback, Therapy). Their debut Can't Stop What's Comin' is available on HMV, Amazon, iTunes and all major outlets. Nitroville's musical ability makes them unreliant on heavy post production and their live stage policy is strictly 'pedals are for pussies'. Nitroville is unfiltered, rough on the edges Blues driven Hard Rock/fkN/Roll. Music magazine Shout4Music.com writes, 'If a rusting and oil dripping Mustang could play guitar, this is the music it would make'.
