Un po' in ritardo, ma parliamo della nomination agli Oscar 2012. Buffonata ormai da tempo, nonostante siano un carrozzone troppo lungo e spesso per niente condivisibile nei giudizi, se si ama il cinema non si può fare a meno di essere incuriositi dai premi più importanti della categoria.
Veniamo subito alla ciccia: quest'anno è stato introdotto un nuovo metodo di candidatura. Ogni giurato ha potuto esprimere la sua cinquina preferita e i film che hanno ottenuto almeno il 5% delle preferenze sono stati nominati.
Il risultato è stato la candidatura di 9 titoli. E qui arrivano già gli scandali. Come hanno fatto a tenere fuori dalle nomination film come Drive e Super8?! Ma il vero scandalo arriva dalle nomination per gli attori: veramente criminale la mancata nomination di Leonardo DiCaprio per J. Edgar (ma tanto ormai è una moda), di Michael Fassbender per Shame e soprattutto di Ryan Gosling per Drive Clooney ha sinceramente rotto i cosidetti. Per le attrici invece sarebbe bello che vincesse il suo meritatissimo (e scandalosamente mai arrivato!) Oscar la bravissima Glenn Close. Meryl lo sappiamo tutti che è bravissima, ma sul comodino ha già due statuette e direi che possono bastare. Per quanto mi riguarda Malick e il suo The Tree of Life dovrebbero vincere tutto il possibile, ma figuriamoci, è un film troppo complesso e troppo elitario per quei buzzurri dell'Academy. Incredibile che quest'anno non ci sia un film Pixar tra i migliori d'animazione (certo che con Cars 2 se la sono cercata).Il presentatore sarà il buon Billy Crystal e la data fatidica è il 26 febbraio 2012 al Kodak Theatre, of course.
