Nuove specie di uccelli

L’albero evolutivo che collega tutte le 9993 specie viventi conosciute di uccelli è stato messo a punto da un gruppo internazionale di ricercatori, che lo ha descritto in un articolo pubblicato su “Nature”, a prima firma Walter Jet. Gli uccelli hanno continuato ad aumentare il tasso di diversificazione in specie differenti. Sembra che le aree di maggior speciazione non siano quelle tropicali, ma quelle più soggette a fluttuazioni climatiche che favoriscono l’ evoluzione di nuove specie ai problemi dovuti ai cambiamenti dell’ habitat. Purtroppo però non compensa minimamente l’ accelerazione dei tassi di estinzione provocata, ancora una volta, dall’ impatto dell’uomo sull’ ambiente

NEW SPECIES OF BIRDS

The evolutionary tree that connects all the 993 known species of birds has been developed by an international group of researcher, described in an article published in “Nature”, signed first by Walter Jet.
Birds continued to increase the rate of diversification in different species. It seems that the area of greatest speciation are not those tropical, but the most subject to climatic fluctuation that favour the evolution of new species to the problem due to the changes of habitat. Unfortunately, however, does not compensate in any way the accelerating extinction rates caused, again, by human impact on environment.
