OOTD: Leather & Silk

Devo ammettere che non sono mai stata una grande amante della pelle (intesa sempre come ecopelle, sia chiaro, quella vera non la prendo nemmeno in considerazione), anzi devo dire che non l’ho proprio mai valutata molto come materiale: certo ho sempre avuto giacche, borse, scarpe ed accessori vari in cuoio, ma presi più per “abitudine”che per una vera scelta, insomma ha mai stimolato troppo il mio interesse.Negli ultimi anni però i capi in pelle si sono fatti man mano più eleganti e femminili, ed hanno cominciato stuzzicare la mia curiosità.
Così l’anno scorso sull’onda dell’ennesimo editoriale e tutta presa da pubblicità varie, nelle quali li usano a profusione, mi sono comprata i pantaloni/leggins(sarebbero pantaloni in realtà, ma definirli tali è un’eufemismo) che vedete nelle foto.Risultato: tra il fatto che sono superaderenti e che sono di ecopelle, li ho messi 3 volte in tutto.Quest’anno mi sono ricapitati tra le mani e con loro si è riaccesa la fantasia di indossarli, ma dato che ora già so che non sono un capo con cui mi sento a mio agio li ho provati in una delle occasioni che generalmente sfrutto come terreno di prova per capi o look che non mi convincono, ovvero pranzi o tè in casa con amici di famiglia o parenti.Stando in casa senza estranei intorno sono più tranquilla, ho diversi specchi disposizione e al contempo ne approfitto per testare come risulta un certo abbinamento portandolo un po’ di tempo.

Quindi ho preso i pantaloni, li ho abbinati ad una camicia in seta un pò lunga sui fianchi, collana etnica e loafers animalier:

alle mie zie è piaciuto molto questo look (ma credo che a loro piacerei anche con un sacco della spazzatura addosso),io diciamo che mi ci devo abituare… voi che ne pensate?
I must admit that I've never been a great lover of leather (always intended as faux leather, I don’t even consider the real one), indeed I must say that I've just never evaluated is as material: I have always had some jackets, bags , shoes and accessories in leather, but took more for "habit" than for a real choice: in short, leather has never stimulated my interest.
In recent years, however, leather garments have become progressively more elegant and feminine, and began to tease my curiosity.
So last year under the effect of many editorials and various advertisings, I bought the pants / leggings (they would be pants really, but define them in that way would be an euphemism) that you see in the photo.
Result: with the fact that they are supertight and that are made of leather, I put them 3 times in total.
This year they turned up again in my hands and with them was rekindled my fantasy to wear them. But since I now already know I'm not comfortable with them, I tried them them on one of the occasions that generally I exploit as ground test for pieces or look that does not convince me: lunch or tea at home with family friends or relatives.
Staying at home only with people I know I’m more relaxed, I have several mirrors and at the same time I can take the opportunity to test how a certain combination looks after some time.

So I took my pants, I've paired them with a silk shirt a bit long on the hips, and added ethnic necklace and animalier loafers:

my aunts loved this look (which I think they'd like me even dressed with a garbage bag), I have to say that I still have to get used ... what do you think about?
