OOTD: vest and dots

Quello che amo di più dei gilet, è che sono un vero passepartout: vanno bene per tutti i tipi di outfit, sono declinabili in una miriade di modelli e fantasie e soprattutto riescono non solo a dare carattere ad un'abbinamento un sottotono, ma anche a rendere più portabili look un pò troppo stravaganti.
In realtà per il post di oggi avevo intenzione di mostrarvi una giacca-gilet bianca che ho preso la settimana scorsa da Zara (con la quale è stato amore a prima vista), però poi mi è capitato di voler tentare il mix di pois che va tanto di moda, con gonna a camicetta nella stessa fantasia ma di diversa grandezza e a contrasto,  e per ridimensionare un risultato carino ma un pò troppo vistoso ho utilizzato questo gilet semlicissimo in cachemire grigio che ho da una vita: è bastato aggiungerlo per capovolgere la situazione e rendere questo look particolare ma molto meno appariscente!
E' per questo che ho deciso di fare le foto al risultato per mostrarvelo: come non apprezzare la versatilità di questo capo? :)
What I love most about vests, is that they are a real ace: are good for all kinds of outfits, there are in a myriad of models and patterns, and especially they can not only give character to an undertone pairing, but even to make more wearable looks a bit too extravagant. 
Really for today's post I wanted to show you a white jacket-vest that I bought last week from Zadar (it was love at first sight), but then happened that one day I decided to try the mix of polka dots that seems so fashionable, with skirt and blouse in the same pattern but of different size and in contrast, and to reduce a result cute but a little too flashy, I used this plain vest in  grey cashmere: it was enough to turn the tables and make this look  still particular but much less flashy! 
And this is why I decided to take photos to the result to show it: how not to appreciate the versatility of this garment? :)
