Our master bedroom

Oggi vi mostro la nostra camera da letto, com'era più di un anno fa.
Vi chiederete..."perchè ci fai vedere una foto di un anno fa?"
Perchè adoro modificare la casa col trascorrere delle stagioni e qui la camera è fotografata più o meno nello stesso periodo dell'anno. Ora invece è ancora in versione estiva e non ho ancora foto disponibili.
Non è che stravolgo la casa ma considero i colori con cui la decoro come gli abiti che indossiamo. Non ci vesiamo mica con lo stesso abito tutto l'anno, no? Durante l'inverno, decoro la casa con accessori più caldi e scuri che facciano "cuccia" e che invoglino a rimanere a casa al calduccio, magari con una bella tazza di thè fumante e qualche biscotto fatto da me.
Dalla primavera, inizio a cambiare i colori che diventano man mano sempre più freschi e freddi in modo da sentire quasi la frescura all'interno degli ambienti.
E' più forte di me. La mia casa deve adattarsi a me e non io a lei.

You may wonder ... "why do you show us a picture of one year ago?"
Because I love modifying the house with the change of the seasons and the room was photographed here more or less in the same period of the year. Instead,  now it is still in the summer dress and I have not any picture available.
I don't change the house completely but I consider the colors of the home decor as the clothes we wear. During the winter, I decor the home with warmer and darker accessories that make "nest" and that encourage you to stay at home in the warm, perhaps with a cup of steaming tea and some cookies made ​​by me.
Since the spring, I start to change the colors that become gradually more and more fresh and cold so you can feel almost the cool indoors.It is stronger than me. My house has to adapt to me and not me to her.

Come vedete, adoro i letti a baldacchino. Questo è in ferro battuto di Cantori.Sul muro dove c'è la testata del letto ho incollato uno stencil adesivo con un ramo di ciliegio su cui c'è un uccellino (ora gli ho cambiato posto ma non vi anticipo nulla e mi direte se vi piaceva più qui o nell'altra versione!).

As you can see, I love canopy beds. This is made in iron by Cantori.
On the wall where the headboard of the bed is, I've put a adhesive stencil with a cherry branch on which there is a bird (now I changed the place but I don't anticipate anything and you'll tell me if you liked the most here or in the other version!).

Sulla struttura del baldacchino c'è una leggerissima organza lilla chiaro che si abbina alle tende in lino naturale tinto in filo sempre lilla chiaro. I cuscinoni dietro ai guanciali li ho trovati alla mitica Ikea. Le righe sui cuscini sono grigio e lilla chiaro e sono di seta. Potevo non comprarli?Eh sì, riesco a resistere a comprare abbigliamento o altro ma devo ammettere che quando vedo accessori per la casa e utensili per la cucina faccio davvero mooooolta fatica a resistere. Dopotutto, ognuno ha i suoi punti deboli, non siamo mica perfetti ;-)In primo piano, il mio tenerissimo orso-cuscino.In un prossimo post, ve lo mostreò perchè è davvero bello fronte e retro.

On the canopy frame there is a lightweight lilac organza  that matches the curtains in natural linen dyed always clear lilac . The cushions behind the pillows have been found at the legendary Ikea. The lines on the pillows are gray and lilac and are made by silk. Could I not buy them?
Yes, I can resist buying clothes or other but I must admit that when I see home accessories and kitchen utensils I do resist really veeeeeeery hardly After all, everyone has her own weaknesses, we're not perfect ;-)
