Pastorello - Unnatürlich

Per molti Pastorello è uno degli artisti sardi fra i più interessanti.  Per me non lo è!  Nonostante ami la terra sarda e le sue genti, trovo assolutamente riduttivo limitare il suo talento alla sua sola isola! Ora in mostra a Berlino

Naturale e innaturale non sono del tutto opposti, fanno parte di questo mondo; il loro vero opposto è il soprannaturale. La pittura è pittura La pittura è innaturale, contro natura, ma è nel mondo. Non è soprannaturale, lo lascia intendere, promette e non mantiene: inganna.
Natural and unnatural are not totally opposite,
they belong to the same world; their actual opposite is the supernatural.
Painting is painting. Painting in unnatural, against nature, but belongs to the world.
It is not supernatural, it hints, it promises, but it doesn’t fulfil: it misleads.   Natürlich und unnatürlich sind nicht
völlig gegensätzlich, sie gehören zu dieser Welt; ihr wirkliches Gegenteil ist das
Übernatürliche.
Die Malerei ist Malerei
Die Malerei ist unnatürlich, wider
die Natur, aber sie ist in der Welt.
Sie ist nicht übernatürlich, sie gibt es zu verstehen,
verspricht und hält es nicht: sie täuscht.
