Pet therapy contro la sclerosi multipla

Calma e tranquillita ma anche agilità e pazienza, sono le doti possedute da questi cavalli destinati come pet therapy alla cura di cinque malati di sclerosi multipla che per la prima volta in Italia frequenteranno un corso di ippoterapia finalizzato alla competizione sportiva. Grazie alla federazione Italiana per gli sport equestri insieme all’ Università di Cagliari, si sperimenta questa “cura “ per un malattia grave come la sclerosi multipla. I cavalli infatti procurano delle continue perdite di equilibrio che devono continuammente corrette dal cavaliere costringendolo ad una sorta di ginnastica attenuando gli effetti della malattia permettondogli così di recuperare la propria autostima

These are the qualities possessed by these horses intended as pet therapy to the care of five patients of multiple sclerosis who for the first time in Italy attend a course in horse therapy aimed at the sport competition. Hanks to the Italian federation for equestrian Sport together with the University of Cagliari (Italy), weexperience this “cure” for a serious disease as muòtiple sclerosis. The horse in fact procure the continuing loss of balance that must be corrected by the rider forcing him to a kind of gymnastic mitigatng the effects of the disease allowing him to recover their self-esteem
