Uno dei piaceri della montagna in estate è senza dubbio quello delle passeggiate in quota. Fatica e sudore regalano soddisfazioni e panorami mozzafiato.
Mi ricordo di passeggiate ed escursioni nella Val d'Ayas, dove ho casa, da fin quando ho memoria. Ora sono un po' fuori allenamento (e un po' più pigra) rispetto quando ero bambina, ma non posso negarne la bellezza.
L'altro giorno, mentre io son rimasta a casa ancora tra i libri di studio, Giacomo, partendo a piedi da Champoluc, si è spinto fino al Colle Pinter, a 2777 m, verso la vetta del Testa Grigia, il monte a forma di sfinge che vedete nell'immagine in apertura.
Vi mostro le immagini che ha scattato per documentare l'impresa.
One of the pleasures of the mountains in the summer is undoubtedly walking at altitude. Exertion and sweat give satisfaction and breathtaking views.
I remember walking and hiking in the Val d'Ayas, where I've a little house, as long as I can remember. Now I'm a bit out of practice (and a bit more sluggish) than when I was a kid, but I can not deny its beauty.
Some day ago while I stayed home still among the study books, Giacomo, starting on foot from Champoluc, went to the Col Pinter, at 2777 m, towards the summit of Testa Grigia (that means 'Gray Head'), the mountain sphinx-shaped you see in the opening.
I show you the pictures he took to document the expedition.

Prima di arrivare al Colle, si scorgono i Laghi Pinter (quella pozzanghera che vedere qui sopra è uno di questi)(altri son più grandi). Belli e suggestivi, è qui il punto più alto che io ho mai raggiunto sulla strada verso il Testa Grigia. Vi avevo mostrato una foto di questi laghi tempo fa, nel primo post in cui vi raccontavo di Champoluc. Potete vederla CLICCANDO QUI (quinta foto).
Before coming to the Hill, you can see the Lakes Pinter (the puddle you can see above is one of them) (others are larger). Beautiful and evocative, this is the highest point where I have ever achieved on the way to the Testa Grigia. I showed you a picture of these lakes long ago, in the first post where I told you about Champoluc. You can see it by CLICKING HERE (fifth photo).

Ed ecco raggiunto l'obiettivo: 2777 m a metà tra Gressoney e Saint Jaques. Un sospiro presso il traguardo prima della discesa.
And reached the goal here is: 2777 m. halfway between Gressoney and Saint Jacques. A sigh at the finish line before the descent.

Non male non credete? Per raggiungere il Colle, ci sono volute circa 3 ore e mezza di cammino - per scendere un po' meno. Un bell'esercizio restando davvero immersi nella natura.
A voi piace camminare in montagna? Sareste disposti a farlo portando con voi una pesante macchina fotografica o preferite essere gli unici testimoni della vostra fatica?
E soprattutto il picnic è l'unico scopo o vi piace l'escursione in quanto tale? :)

Not bad, is it? To reach the hill, he took about 3 hours and a half - to get down a little less. A really good exercise, keeping immersed in nature.
Do you like to walk in the mountains? Would you be willing to do it with you carrying a heavy camera or do prefer to be the only witnesses of your exertion?
And above all, is the picnic the real aim or do you like the trip itself? :)Please let me know in a comment!
