Friday night, thanks to Zed Live and Gran Teatro Geox, I had the pleasure of attending an evening very interesting and different from usual: An Evening of Burlesque Straight from London, a fun and colorful, and never vulgar and original show. On stage some of the most popular performer in Europe, including Amber Topaz, Kiki Kaboom, Slinky Sparkles, Chrys Columbine, the latter called the European Dita Von Teese. Ivy Paige was the fantastic presenter of the evening, for her was a little bit hard to make herself understood by the public (unfortunately we Italians often have gaps in language), but voice and stage presence were amazing Surprisingly on the stage also a man: Conte Adriano Fettuccini, who, after a few juggling numbers , undresses while riding a unicycle, and he remains in knickers and nipple covers. The costumes, what about the costumes, except that I liked very much. Glitter, sequins, quite glamorous lingerie, feathers, corsets and stockings were the masters of the evening I absolutely adored all mini-caps (I must confess that I also have two in my closet), Amber Topaz's stockings in the final piece (those beige with black stripes), fans with feathers and the red dress Jessica Rabbit style of Ivy I was expecting something more from shoes, but then I remembered that maybe a heel 12 would not be too convenient for performing! Venerdì sera, grazie a Zed Live e Gran Teatro Geox, ho avuto il piacere di assistere ad una serata davvero interessante e diversa dal solito: An Evening of Burlesque. Direttamente da Londra, un spettacolo divertente e coloratissimo, mai volgare e decisamente originale. Sul palco alcune tra le piu' famose performer in Europa, tra cui Amber Topaz, Kiki Kaboom, Slinky Sparkles, Chrys Columbine, quest'ultima definita la Dita Von Teese europea. Fantastica presentatrice della serata Ivy Paige, peccato solo che abbia fatto un po' fatica a farsi capire dal pubblico (purtroppo noi italiani spesso abbiamo delle lacune linguistiche), ma voce e presenza scenica da dieci. A sorpresa anche un uomo: il Conte Adriano Fetuccini, che, dopo alcuni numeri di giocoloeria, si spoglia in sella ad un monociclo e rimane anche lui in culotte e copricapezzoli. I costumi, che dire dei costumi se non che mi sono piaciuti davvero tanto. Lustrini, paillettes, intimo assolutamente glamour, piume, corsetti e autoreggenti hanno fatto da padrone alla serata. Ho assolutamente adorato tutti i cappellini (devo confessare che ne ho due anche io nell'armadio), le calze di Amber Topaz nel pezzo finale (quelle beige a righe nere), i ventagli con le piume e il vestito rosso stile Jessica Rabbit di Ivy. Mi sarei aspettata qualcosa di piu' dalle scarpe, ma poi mi sono ricordata che forse un tacco 12 non sarebbe stato troppo comodo per le esibizioni! Cliccate qui per tutte le foto!
