Ponce Preludes for Guitar - CD completed

The 1st CD of "Novecento Guitar Preludes"

Last week I finished the recording of CD “Manuel Ponce - 24 Preludes for Guitar”, as the title says, contains 24 preludes for guitar of Mexican composer Manuel Maria Ponce (1882 - 1948). The recording is based on the 23 autographs of the author and a prelude from editorial source (in G Major).
The CD is the first of three of the new project will complete by the autumn of this year that will take the title of“Novecento Guitar Preludes” and that will contain the 24 Preludes of Ponce, 12 Preludes by Boris Asaf ‘ev (1884 - 1949) and 24 Preludes (Excercitium Tonale) by Ferenc Farkas (1905 - 2000).

La settimana scorsa ho terminato la registrazione del CD “Manuel Ponce - 24 Preludes for Guitar” che, come dice il titolo, contiene i 24 preludi per chitarra del compositore messicano Manuel Maria Ponce (1882 - 1948). La registrazione si basa sui 23 manoscritti autografi dell’autore e su un preludio di fonte editoriale (in Sol Maggiore).
Il CD è il primo dei tre del nuovo progetto discografico che completerò entro l’autunno di quest’anno che prenderà il titolo di “Novecento Guitar Preludes” e che conterrà la registrazione dei 24 Preludi di Ponce, appunto, dei 12 di  Boris Asaf’ev (1884 - 1949) e dei 24 di Ferenc Farcas (1905 - 2000).
