E' passato molto tempo dalla prima volta che stressai per andare ad Assisi, durante una delle nostre abbastanza frequenti uscite umbre. Ad attirarmi erano innanzitutto gli affreschi di Giotto, ma anche la nomea di essere una città molto ben curata e affascinante, aiutava.
E dai e dai, ce l'ho fatta e a Pasquetta siamo andati nella bella Assisi. Nessuna aspettativa delusa, la città è deliziosa, l'ambiente accogliente e autentico. Nonostante il grande turismo, Assisi non ha assunto certe artificiosità di cui soffrono altre città. Non a caso è patrimonio dell'Unesco e se lo merita.
The first time I stressed people next to me to go to Assisi, was a long time ago. During one of our enough frequent outputs in Umbria could be the perfect occasion. My first interest was in the frescoes by Giotto, but also the reputation of the city to be a very well cared for and charming, helped.

At the end, I did it and Easter Monday we went to the beautiful Assisi. No expectations disappointed, the city is delicious, the atmosphere warm and authentic. Despite the great tourism, Assisi has not taken certain artificiality aspects that affects other cities. Not by chance is Unesco's heritage and he deserves it.

Vi lascio qualche foto che ho scattato. I meravigliosi affreschi di Giotto della Basilica (Superione e Inferiore) non erano fotografabili, quindi vi lascio alla città e agli esterni :).
I leave you some of the pictures I took. The wonderful frescoes by Giotto in the Basilica (superione and inferiore) were forbidden to be photographed, so I leave you to the city and the outside :).

Eccoci di fronte alla Basilica. La piazza è bellissima, e gli interni sono mozzafiato. Imperdibile per gli italiani, molto consigliato ai turisti esteri, una meraviglia per l'umanità!

...fino alle ore più prossime al tramonto, ci siamo trattenuti ad Assisi, passeggiando per i suoi vicoli e salendo e scendendo per le sue strade. Nulla da aggiungere alle immagini, è stata una bellissima uscita, direi un 'must' da non perdere e da non sottovalutare.

... until closer to sunset, we stayed in Assisi, walking through its narrow streets and up and down its avenue. Nothing to add to the images, it was a great trip, I would say it's a 'must' not to be missed and nobody should underestimate it.

Mi dispiace essere ancora poco assidua sul blog, ma non per questo non siamo attivi. Alcune anticipazioni: lunedì parteciperò ad un openkitchen di un rinomato ristorante orientale di Milano e mercoledì....... sorpresa!!
