[Review+Swatch] Maybelline Fit Me Concealer #15 (alias, l'ultimo capitolo della saga XD)

E con questo concludiamo la saga dei prodotti della linea Fit Me di Maybelline da me provati (ebbene sì, i blush sono riuscita a lasciarli in negozio, almeno quelli XD). Dopo la polvere compatta (review) e il fondotinta (review qui), eccovi il correttore nella nuance 15, che ha un leggero sottotono rosato. Si tratta di un correttore liquido, con applicatore lungo che permette di stendere il prodotto direttamente sulle zone interessate, con discreta precisione e senza eccessivi sprechi. Il color match è molto buono, e questo per me è stato uno dei selling points della linea in generale, come vi avevo già detto nelle precedenti review, per la cipria e il fondo. Ma anche il prodotto in sé mi ha lasciata davvero soddisfatta. Come anticipato, la texture è liquida e leggera, ma non a tal punto da essere trasparente quando si va a stendere e sfumare sulla pelle. Ha infatti una buona coprenza, soprattutto per la zona occhi, perché va a contrastare e coprire notevolmente il sottotono bluastro delle occhiaie. Tuttavia, quando la situazione è un po' più critica, conviene sempre applicare prima un correttore color salmone per cancellare il viola/blu e poi il Fit Me per illuminare l'area. Non lo trovo ottimo per i brufoletti e le piccole imperfezioni perché, oltre a non essere la colorazione più adatta, la consistenza fa sì che, quando lo andiamo a sfumare su quelle zone, perda un po' della sua opacità e 'resistenza'; preferisco qualcosa come lo Studio Finish di MAC o comunque un correttore più cremoso. Detto questo, lo utilizzo talvolta anche su queste zone quando non cerco una coprenza perfetta e voglio fare un trucco un po' più veloce. Il risultato è più che discreto. Resiste bene durante tutta la giornata, ma non è nè waterproof nè a lunga tenuta, quindi acqua, sudore o umidità andranno ad intaccare il prodotto se non lo fissate con un po' di cipria o polvere. Si applica facilmente e spesso anche solo con i polpastrelli si ottiene un risultato soft focus, ovvero di sfocatura naturale dell'imperfezione (non grave, vedi sopra)/occhiaia evitando l'effetto mascherone; quando ho più tempo, invece, mi trovo molto bene con il pennello definito 'da fondotinta' del HD Set di CrownBrush che vi ho recensito qualche settimana fa. Come per gli altri prodotti, il mio giudizio finale è decisamente positivo, inoltre, a differenza del fondotinta, il correttore è adatto a un range più esteso di tipologie di pelle. That's it, I promise. This is the last product from the Maybelline Fit Me range I review for you. I'm sorry I didn't write only one complete review on this line, but I bought the products in different moments so I couldn't include them in one post only.
I review the pressed powder (link), the foundation (link here), and now it's time for the concealer (nope, I didn't buy their blushes, I managed to resist XD).
My shade is #15 and it's a perfect match for the undereye area, as it's slightly pink.
As I said in my previous reviews on the Fit Me line, one the main selling points for me was the colour range, as I was finally able to find a very nice match for my pale complexion.
The concealer is no exception.
The product itself comes in a slim packaging, with a doefoot applicator which allows a very precise application and avoids waisting product.
It has a quite liquidy texture but it's not sheer at the point it doesn't provide any coverage at all; in fact, I find it does cover dark circles pretty well and blends nicely into the skin without being either too transparent or too thick.
If you have very dark undereye circles tho, you might still need to put a peachy corrector first and then use the Fit Me concealer to brighten up the area.
Otherwise, it works perfectly.
It's not amazing when it comes to cover blemishes or very stubborn and noticeable spots tho, as the texture is not thick enough to stay as opaque as you might need; I still prefer a more creamy and thick product like my MAC Studio Finish concealer. Plus, this pinkish shade is not the most suitable for this purpose.
Anyways, I use it sometimes for minor spots, if I don't need a lot of coverage and I want to be quick. It still works nicely, although it doesn't give a completely flawless complexion.
It stays put for hours, but it's not waterproof or marked as long-lasting, so water, sweat or humidity might melt it unless you set it.
I like to apply it with my fingertips, for a kind of soft focus finish, as it blurs the area you want to conceal; but I also like to use the so-called 'foundation brush' from the CrownBrush HD set I reviewed last week (link here).
Overall, I'm very pleased with this product as well as the others I tried from the Fit Me line and I totally recommend it.
The price point is affordable too, and that's another pro.
