[Review+Swatch] Maybelline Fit Me Foundation #105.

  [IT] Nel precedente post vi ho introdotto uno dei prodotti della linea Fit Me di Maybelline, ovvero la polvere compatta, che faceva parte di un mini haul che avrei dovuto postarvi tempo fa. L'altra metà dell'haul era composto dal fondotinta della stessa linea e nella stessa colorazione, #105, della cipria. Se volete sapere la mia opinione su quest'ultima, vi rimando al link del post sui "prodotti wow di febbraio", mentre oggi spenderò due parole solo sul fondotinta.   [EN] I already introduced to you my beloved pressed powder from the Maybelline Fit Me line, but today I'd like to talk about another product from the same line I purchased the same time I bought the powder - I really should've posted a haul but, you know...oh, well. Anyway, the foundation I'm talinking about is #105, the lightest of all the shades in this line (#palepeopleproblems).     [IT] Premetto che non lo amo alla follia, ma lo ritengo comunque un buon prodotto,  con un ottimo prezzo di lancio, e soprattutto apprezzo la varietà di colorazioni proposte finalmente anche in Italia dal brand; le diverse nuance sono divise in tre fasce - pelli chiare, medie e scure - e per ognuna ci sono alcune opzioni. Io e il mio pallore ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene con la 105, la più chiara in assoluto, anche se, a essere pignoli, è un punta troppo scura. Detto questo, il fondotinta si presenta in una confezione semplice, trasparente e con un utilissimo dosatore. Basica e funzionale, per me un punto a suo favore. Il prodotto in sè ha una consistenza molto liquida ma che diventa più consistente mano a mano che lo si lavora sulla pelle. La coprenza è bassa, leggermente modulabile, l'effetto è piacevolmente leggero sulla pelle e il finish luminoso.
Trovo che l'applicazione migliora si ottenga con i polpastrelli, oppure con un pennello molto denso a setole sintetiche come quelli proposti da Sigma. Mi piace molto l'aspetto 'leggero' di questo fondo; anche Maybelline ricalca infatti la formula proposta da altri brand, per cui la base deve essere impalpabile e impercettibile, in modo da non creare l'effetto cerone né la sensazione della pelle che tira. Mi piace un po' meno invece il finish; o meglio, lo trovo molto bello per i primi cinque minuti dall'applicazione, ma poi devo per forza opacizzare la zona T (e a volte anche l'intero viso) per evitare l'effetto lucido/oleoso e l'accentuazione di pori o rughette di espressione. Quindi direi che non è particolarmente adatta a chi ha la pelle mista/grassa, mentre poterbbe dare il massimo su pelli normali. Diciamo che, io che ho la pelle mista ma senza un'eccessiva produzione di sebo, soprattutto in questa stagione, mi trovo bene lo stesso con questo fondotinta perché ne apprezzo molto la leggerezza e la 'comodità', e non mi dà fastidio dover passare un velo di polvere opacizzante su determinate zone, dato che lo faccio comunque con tutte le basi. Se invece cercate un fondo matt o con una durata eccellente senza 'aiutini' - vedi polveri fissanti - allora non fa per voi. Prezzo da tigotà: € 8,50.   [EN] I must admit, it's not my favourite foundation, but I like it enought to list some pros and cons for you. First of all, thank you Maybelline for the amazing range of colours! They have three categories - light, medium and darker skin tones - and 4 shades in each category, for a total of 12. Number 105 is the lightest, as I said, and it is actually a pretty good match, although a tad bit darker, to be precise. The packaging is very simple, a clear bottle with a very handy pump. Basic and functional, I like that. The product itself is very liquidy but it turns into a more thick consistency when you rub it into your skin. It provides a very light coverage, although buildable, it feels incredibly light on your face and it has a dewy finish.
I like to apply it with my fingertips, for a more natural finish, but a dense synthetic brush, like Sigma's, can work too. I really like the fact that it is very light-weighted, as many other brands have come out with similar products too lately, but I really can't stand the finish on me, after a little while. I like the glow but I definitely need to powder my skin 5 minutes after applying the foundation, or it will sink into my pores and accentuate fine lines. In conclusion, I guess it's not the right foundation if you have combination to oily/very oily skin, but I bet it works well with more normal skintypes. I have combination to normal skin, although not extremely oily in the t-zone, but I don't mind using a setting powder on certain areas to prevent the product to melt, as I do it with pretty much any foundation I use. Therefore, I still use and enjoy this foundation. But if you're looking for a matte or very high-coverage and long-lasting foundation and you don't want to be bothered with extra products like powders and such, that's not for you.
