Can't I wonder riprende le fila di Debridement, ma col passare dei minuti il suono si trasforma rendendo protagonisti gli archi (You sail on, Heartless), le percussioni marziali (Win or lose) o lasciando spazio a droni ambientali (Greenhouse). La title-track è il capolavoro in cui confluiscono tutti gli elementi più caratteristici dell'arte di Rivulets: nasce su pochi accordi ripetitivi, pian piano entrano vari strumenti in sottofondo, fino ad esplodere in un crescendo come fosse una canzone dei Low. Can't I wonder takes over the row of Debridement, but with each passing minute the sound becomes different thanks to strings (You sail on, Heartless), martial percussion (Win or lose) or ambient drones (Greenhouse). The title track is a masterpiece which combines all the most characteristic elements of Rivulets'art: it starts on a few repeated chords, various instruments slowly enter in the background, than it explodes in a crescendo like a Low song.
