Negli ultimi giorni, durante il CeBIT 2015, è stato annunciato un nuovo tablet di Samsung, realizzato in collaborazione con IBM e Secusmart (di proprietà di BlackBerry), il cui focus è principalmente la sicurezza dei dati. In realtà, non si tratta di un vero e proprio nuovo tablet, in quanto è basato sul progetto del Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (il miglior tablet al momento per Samsung). Il nome trovato per questo concentrato di sicurezza informatica è SecuTABLET.
Le parole pronunciate durante la presentazione ufficiale dal CEO di Secusmart GmbH, il Dr. Hans-Christoph Quelle, sono state le seguenti:
Security is ingrained in every part of BlackBerry’s portfolio, which includes voice and data encryption solutions. National and international government customers have entrusted their voice and data communications with the Secusmart Security Card for years. This same technology is what secures the new SecuTABLET. Working alongside IBM and Samsung, we have added the last link in the chain of the Federal Security Network. Subject to certification of the SecuTABLET, German government agencies will have a new way to access BlackBerry’s most secure and complete communications network in the world.
Ovviamente non stiamo parlando di un device che arriverà nel mercato consumer, per cui prezzo e data di disponibilità sono del tutto superflui (nel caso le sapessimo).
