Shabby Chic Style – tips and store list

In a post of my blog’s column dedicated to the Interior design styles, I’ve talked about the Shabby chic style pointing out its origins and its main characteristics and I also showed you some nice images for inspiration.
In un post precedente nella rubrica del blog dedicata agli stili di Interior design, ho parlato dello stile Shabby chic rimarcando le sue origini e le sue principali caratteristiche e mostrando anche alcune immagini come fonte d’ispirazione.
The shabby chic style is a “on budget style” where recycling old furniture and fabrics is an important aspect of the look. My suggestion is try to be romantic and creative trying to give another life to old granny furniture and trying to look for interesting stuff in flea markets. The beautiful thing of this style is that all the elements and decorations are created or recreated with passion and keeping visible the signs of the time on them. The nicer thing of it, is that everything is made for a practical and simply living surrounded by things you love and feel really yours. Lo stile Shabby chic è quello stile “trasandato chic” che riporta in sé il sapore degli oggetti vissuti che a volte rivivono anche in altre forme ed è uno stile nato per permettere di arredare casa con un budget contenuto preferendo il riciclo dei vecchi mobili e tessuti. Il mio consiglio è di essere romantici e creativi cercando di recuperare i vecchi mobili della nonna e cercando oggetti dai mercatini dell’antiquariato o mercati delle pulci locali. La bellezza di questo stile è che tutti gli elementi e le decorazioni sono create e ricreate con passione e lasciando ben visibili su di essi i segni del tempo. La cosa carina è che tutto è fatto sul concetto di uno stile di vita semplice all’insegna della praticità e del vivere realmente gli oggetti che ci circondano.
