Shiatzy chen review

Shiatzy Chen S/S 2013, Paris Fashion Week. Grand Hotel Intercontinental

I'm writing about this talented designer because it's very easy comment and appreciate the  usual collections, more difficult and original is in my opinion comment and do a review on Shiatzy Chen.

I really like her prints, colors and fabrics...the whole collection in practice!
As I wrote in the previous post it was on of my favorite fashion show also for the location, very suggestive (I'll show it in a video as soon as possible).
The collection that you see in these images is called "Perpetually" and narrates a beautiful story passed down through generations. Employs an abundance of precise balanced and perpetuating lines to create abstract forms that still maintain simplicity.
This S/S 2013 utilizes translucent and lustrous materials such as silk and satin as well as textured fabrics such as semi-translucent jacquard.
The bold use of bright colors accenting large patches of printed paper-cutting patterns displays a unity of easter folk art and western fashion.
A good job, in my opinion. What do you think girls?

Vi scrivo una breve review di questa designer perché è facile commentare e apprezzare nomi altisonanti come Paco rabanne o Louis Vuitton, ma quando noti una stilista di cui apprezzi le stampe, i colori, i tessuti , l'intera sfilata...ma che magari la massa non conosce preferisco soffermarmi su questo. Come accennato nel precedente post è stata una delle mie sfilate preferite, anche per la location, veramente suggestiva (vi mostrerò un video prestissimo). La collezione che vedete in queste immagini si chiama "Perpetually" e vuole narrare la storia attraverso le differenti generazioni. Utilizza un'abbondanza di precise, bilanciate e perpetue linee al fine di creare forme astratte che possiedono molta semplicità. I materiali utilizzati sono traslucidi e preziosi, come la seta e il raso interpretando nella maniera più completa la tradizionale arte asiatica. I colori forti accesi da stampe particolari uniscono lo stile più folk dell'est con la moda occidentale.  Un notevole risultato a mio parere... Voi cosa ne pensate?
