come promesso il super contest d'autunno è arrivato! ricordate il sondaggio del mese scorso su facebook sul colore delle Holga Micro? ebbene sì: stavo "lavorando" per voi!! eppoi dite che non vi vogliobbene!!!!!!!!
ma bando alle ciance! sono super contenta di lanciare un bel contest a premi in collaborazione con Panta che sta promuovendo il suo ultimo album "KAAMOSMASENNUS", che darà il "tema" sulla base del quale dovrete scegliere la foto da far concorrere. PREMI IN PALIO:

"Kaamosmasennus è una parola finlandese. In Finlandia, d’inverno, la notte dura anche più di 20 ore, e questo naturalmente ha delle conseguenze sul fisico e sulla psiche, tanto che i finlandesi hanno una parola che indica la depressione derivante dalla mancanza di luce tipica del loro inverno: appunto kaamosmasennus. Questa parola mi è sembrata perfetta per descrivere la società contemporanea. Anche solo vent’anni fa, l’anno 2000 rappresentava un ideale punto di svolta, l’inizio di una nuova era illuminata dal progresso. Ora che lo stiamo vivendo, ci sembra invece sempre più spesso che questo secolo abbia ancora molto in comune con il Medio Evo. Quindi kaamosmasennus per me è diventato il nome del sentimento di sconforto che si prova per la mancanza non della luce del sole, ma della ragione e della conoscenza. Visto che alcune delle canzoni dell’album sono riflessioni sulla società di oggi, mi è sembrato un titolo adatto. Però ci tengo a precisare che dal punto di vista musicale il disco non ha nulla di deprimente, triste o troppo malinconico! Vorrebbe anzi essere un incoraggiamento a guardare avanti e un richiamo al cambiamento.

As promised, the super autumn contest is here!
Do you remember last month’s question on facebook about the colour of the Holga Micro?
Well, yes: I was working for you!
Then don’t say that I don’t love you!! ;)
But enough of that!
I am ultra happy to launch an awesome prize contest in collaboration with Panta, who is promoting his new album “KAAMOSMASENNUS”! The album will give you the theme around which to choose the photo for the contest.
Up for grabs:
1st prize: red Holga Micro + Lomography Tiger 110 + a copy of KAAMOSMASENNUS
2nd prize: yellow Holga Micro + a copy of KAAMOSMASENNUS
3rd prize: Lomography Tiger 110 + a copy of KAAMOSMASENNUS
4th and 5th prizes: a copy of KAAMOSMASENNUS
This is the track to follow:
“Kaamosmasennus is a Finnish word. In Finland, in winter, nights can last over 20 hours, and this of course affects both the psyche and the body, to the point that Finnish people have a specific word to express the depression that derives from the lack of sunlight typical of their winters: kaamosmasennus!
This word seemed perfect to describe our contemporary society. Only 20 years ago, the year 2000 represented an ideal turning point, the beginning of a new era, enlightened by progress. Now that we are living it, it seems rather that this century still has a lot in common with the Middle Ages. So for me kaamosmasennus has become the name of the feeling of distress that derives from a lack of the light of reason and knowledge, rather than of sunlight.
Considering that several of the songs on the album are reflections on society, it seemed like a good title. But I’d like to point out that musically the record is not depressing, sad, gloomy or melancholic at all! On the contrary, it aims at being an encouragement to look ahead and a call for change.
