Simple beach outfit and random thoughts

Agosto...il mese della gioia e del calore...
La mia mente torna sempre ai giorni solitari e pieni di sole che ho trascorso al mare. Nei week end.  Non pensavo che il mare potesse rigenerare ad un punto tale da svuotarmi di ogni preoccupazione e pensiero. Durante la parte più bella dell'anno, per me: l'estate. Camminare scalza, senza inibizioni. Svegliarsi al mattino quando il sole ancora è tiepido. Sorseggiare un caffè caldo. Guardare oltre la finestra, dove c'è solo azzurro e verde.
Leggere un buon libro, in tutta tranquillità e finirlo in poche ore.
E aspettare. Pensare che un'altra estate porterà con sé le stesse gioie e novità. O forse migliori.

Non pensavo che si rivelasse così vitale ed essenziale per le mie giornate di mare: il vestito.
Ricordo ancora quando lo comprai qualche anno fa a Londra. Era una di quelle cose che si comprano perchè oltre ad essere belle, sembra che servano davvero. Almeno in quel momento.


The summer is going to finish soon and my mind goes back to the days in which I have been laying on the sun, during my free week end. I did not believe that the sea could have made me feel so fresh, freeing me by every single worries. Th best part of the year. Walking bare foot on the beach. Read an interesting book breathing the cool air of the sea. And wait. Waiting that anothe year will bring an even better summer, with simple deep joy. I did not realize that this dress from London could have been so useful and cool for the summer's days out on the beach... while I choose the bag as for me this kind of bag embodies the real summer time on the beach...Your feelings?...
