Sneakers: come mutilarle in una pratica mossa

Le sneakers sono un tipo di scarpe che mi piace molto, degli essenziali per me.
Credo che nel loro caso sia sacrosanto il dettato Chanelliano "less is more": una bella sneaker è in morbida pelle di un solo colore (bianca preferibilmente, altrimenti blu per altri materiali), con qualche dettaglio qua e là. Maestri sono, in tal senso, Lanvin e Dior Homme (ma, perchè no, anche Paul Smith o alcune Burberry).
Purtroppo, però, c' è un tarlo della moda che rovina (mio poco modesto parere) molte scarpe altrimenti degne di nota: il collo alto.
Questo ibrido tra uno stivale di cattivo gusto e una sneaker decente pare una recente tendenza fashion rubata dal mondo del basket che molti apprezzano. Io, però, no. Lo trovo semplicemente osceno e parecchio tamarro.
Ecco un esempio di come alcune tra le più belle sneakers che abbia mai visto siano state irrimediabilmente mutilate con questa orrida protesi.
